OK, you'll pay for these containers. They are not cheap. However... they're very much worth it. As noted in the reviews, they're free of harmful contaminants, which many plastics containers are not. They're dishwasher safe. This is particularly appealing because of the unique hinge and sealing device
which is hard to clean with sponge and soap is sauces get into them. 1. These to well in the microwave. You leave the seals on the side open while the top is on and the food heats up well. No need to cover them with another plate, plastic, or separate cover. 2. These do not seem to stain. Most plastic containers that have red sauce placed into them stain and look terrible. Worse, it's sometimes hard to tell if they're clean. It's been 3 months of use and they look the same as when we opened them. 3. They seal very, very well. Other thoughts: 1. I will note that removing the covers is hard at time because of the rubber seal and how it holds to the plastic. You're really putting some force to it at times to separate lid and container. Not deal breaking but you'll notice this. (The price you'll pay for that perfect seal.) 2. I wonder how these will hold up to being dropped. The container is fairly thick feeling. I presume it'll be fine if dropped onto wood floors. If you have tile, I wonder. Most times, I wouldn't care but when you pay as much as you do for these... 3. I do wish they had a few different sizes that what's out there now. I super-sized container would be great. BOTTOM LINE: It'll need to have these a full 9-12 months to know for sure, but these seem like the best containers we've ever had. I'm expecting (hoping) there use and life will make the costs more than worth it.

I love these. I don't worry about them leaking, they are very sturdy. When you heat the food in the microwave, you don't have melted spots where there were hot spots in the food or if you heat the food a little too long. Best of all, they don't stain when we store tomato-based foods.

We already had 2 of these that came with a larger container. These are terrific containers. We’re very pleased with the nice no leak top seal . It’s so nice to see exactly what is in each container without having to wrestle open a flimsy plastic top.

Have purchased maybe two dozen of these over the years, they're the perfect size for leftovers and for divvying up a single serving meal. Cook a meal, portion out the leftovers across these for each day, call it a day! They also take a beating and are perfect for the dishwasher.

Great value, I use them almost every day and they're great for lunches/dinners or just storage. Super easy to clean, don't stain and leak proof. I love it. Will purchase more in the future.

Completely leak-proof and microwavable!

I've been using different containers to take a healthy oatmeal mix to work to heat up for breakfast. The containers either melted, leaked or were too hot to pick up. These containers don't leak, I can just loosen the lid to microwave and I can easily carry it to my desk! Highly recommended!
