The dive master took one look at my vest and declared that it would flip me over on my back. As it turned out snorkeling inside the reefs of Fiji it was very relaxing as I could hover over coral and fish with no effort. It took a couple of times before I got the leg ties to the correct tightness as body length is longer swimming horizontally than when bending over putting on the ties. It's easy and quick to inflate and deflate. Takes little space when traveling. Good value. Orange color was visible for my location. So it's functional.

I can't say too much about this product because I have not actually used it yet, but it fits just as advertised, and the workmanship seems to be good. After inflating the vest I could tell, it definitely would do the job it was designed to do. It also comes with a carry bag to store the vest. Overall a very good buy.

I like that the back of this is mesh so that it does not get hot and sweaty when I'm wearing it. That was one feature that made me select it. However, it's kind of weird having it inflated like an airplane safety floatation device, tube around the neck kind of thing. It's not fashionable and looks kind of nerdy. It comes with straps you can put around your legs/thighs, which I think would work if you are sitting in a kayak or something, but they don't work well for standing on a paddleboard or walking around, because they don't stay put and they slide up and down if you keep them loose enough to move about, but you have to keep those straps tight enough that they won't fall off, but not too tight! It's very hard to get them adjusted just right. This thing was cheap and on sale, which is why I bought it, and you can tell that it's cheap by looking at it. It would probably save me from drowning if I fell into a lake. It has a strap that goes around the chest to lock it down so it won't fall off. I'm a great swimmer and only wear this because I'm extra safe and there are places where I'm required to.
