I ordered the safe in June 2021 and it works great. The safe still looks brand new there is a shelf its not adjustable but you can remove it. There’s also fabric at the bottom that can also be removed. It does have holes in it from mounting to like a wall or a cabinet so I don’t recommend getting it wet. It’s quite small, so it makes it easy to hide or put in a safe place. When it’s empty, it is a little heavy, but it’s not so heavy you can’t carry it. I would definitely recommend if you were looking for a safe, it does have an alarm. However I don’t think it’s fire proof or fire resistant so that could definitely be an issue. It also comes with 2 keys in case the battery dies, which are not included. ... show more

I purchased a safe maybe 10 years ago mainly for fire protection of family documents and safe keeping of valuables. It is smaller and on wheels, but is nice and thick. I never doubted it would protect my documents. The problem is the wheels. It's not very good at actually being a safe when someone can just break in and wheel it away. I decided to look for a safe I could mount to the wall or floor, and that was still fire proof. I decided on this one because it was in my budget. This safe is mountable to either wall or floor, however I'm doubting its ability to protect my documents during a fire. It is basically a sheet metal box with a safe door. I like the size, and the lock panel is a nice feature that was easy to set up. Mounting was fairly easy as well. However, I kept thinking my valuables are just not really safe inside. To ease my mind I ended up purchasing a fire protection pouch to put my most valuable papers inside while stored in the safe. Overall, this safe is pretty much a lock box you can mount to help prevent someone from just walking off with it. I'm really doubting the fire proof claims, and a well equipped thief could most likely cut through the walls of the safe easily with the right tools. I don't store anything extremely valuable in there, so I will probably keep it for now. I will most likely up my budget and replace it with something more sturdy at some point in the future. ... show more

Roomier than I thought, and shelf is removable if you need to put in something larger. Compared to the other products available. Setting the code and turning off the "beeps" was easy. Mounting the safe securely was maybe 20 minutes work. Interior shelf is a great add... lots of space in here for documents and valuables. Certainly not an impenetrable safe if you have heavy tools and some time to bend & peel the steel, but it will keep small hands from firearms and if mounted to a floor or shelf will be quite difficult to walk away with. I was looking for a small gun safe to place inside a storage cabinet that I keep my gun spare parts, ammo, and accessories, which is always locked. I have a larger ten gun safe, but needed something for all the extra pistols I’ve accumulated so the 1.5 cubic feet safe fit the bill. I will be securing the safe by running high tensile strength wire through the pre-drilled holes that’s part of the safe and bolting it to the inner cabinet. I also ordered a couple of three pistol upright stands that I placed in the bottom of the safe. I went with two separate holders so I can fit them individually through the safe opening, which one six pistol holder will not fit due the wider dimension. I’ve used the inner upper shelf to store my high end expensive ammunition. This safe isn’t rated for being fire resistant nor is it something a determined thief couldn’t carry out, which is why I’m anchoring it. Plus, the room along with the cabinet is always locked and I have a motion sensor inside the room that is actively monitored by a security company. The safe is more of a deterrent than being burglar proof so having extra security measures in place is a must. Overall it’s sturdy enough and was super simple to set up. Being only 30 lbs also made it easier to place it within my cabinet without breaking my back. I keep all my firearms and ammo locked up except my EDC pistol, which is always on me or sitting on my bedside nightstand while I’m peacefully sleeping… ... show more
