Super excited about this frame because I had to throw out a previous order that was not. I wanted an 8x8 inch frame for a small painting and needed 'D' rings to hang it. This solid wood frame made it possible to screw the rings in and hang it up. a previous purchase had said "wood composite" but was actually cardboard and wood look contact paper, couldn't handle screws so it was a total loss. Second search turned up this lovely frame. It was a little too short on the sides for my canvas but an eighth inch offset in two places anchored the stretched canvas snugly. It didn’t need a larger one with a mat. The 8x10 fit it perfectly because it ha an edging design all around the poster and it turned out very nicely. She loved it. I found the poster also on Amazon. Got them both with a couple days. Since we are both in our 70’s and 80’s the poster I got said”assuming I am just an old lady was your first mistake”.
