I got this to replace the other portable closet that was held together with plastic pieces because this one looked to be sturdier. The instructions to assemble this are the tyoical picto-instructions. And yes, it is frustrating figuring out how to place the clips on the shelves to connect them together. Several of the rods and shelves were bent - damaged during shipping I assume - which made it a little more frustrating putting it together. Once assembled, I used the included wall anchor screws to secure this to the wall - keep it from toppling over. Then I had to adjust the height of the rods to accommodate the length of my clothing items. I ended up only using the split design on one side of the closet unit. This is more sturdy than the previous one I had and holds all my clothes with room to spare. The top shelf is handy to hold blankets or whatever I need. This has been an ordeal. After ordering, I was sent a dresser instead of the rack. This was not Amazon's fault whatsoever as it came from Songmic. A week later I received the correct item and sat down to assemble. I could overlook that one of the shelves was dented. But the tube fasteners were incorrect to this piece, with internal pegs instead of grooves. So I reached out to the manufacturer only to be told they don't stock this piece or carry spare parts and to just return it. Very frustrating and would not recommend. ... show more
