Great heat press at a great price. Super easy to use. Takes about 7-8 minutes to get to temp (305 degrees). Holds its temp well. After turning off and on again automatically resets to last temp and time setting, which is a nice feature. Sturdy and well built. Be sure to use a Teflon sheet on the top plate... strong magnets will hold it there on the sides so you don’t forget it. So much better for HTV than an iron... great investment!!!! ... show more

SO far so good. It came package well...in great shape. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to work it. I didn’t notice a smell while it heated up. There is a ticking noise...but it didn’t bother me like it did other people. Just reminded me that it was on. There is a little red light on top...that I don’t know what it does. It don’t come on when up to temp or when the timer goes off. But other then that it seems to be working just fine. I’ve only made about 6 shirts on it so far, and its made it a breeze. I was worried about purchasing this heat press due to the reviews. I have been searching for about 9 months now for one. I am glad I decided to take the leap and just buy it. It came in on time, was not damaged, and was easy to get started. It does come with instructions but I couldn't really understand how to open it for the first time. BUT I did YouTube it and it pulled right up. It was a simple bolt that needed to be turned. So it was not that it wasn't easy, I just didn't know how to open it up. Since using it for about 30 items, I can say that it is great. The heat is evenly distributed and the timer is just loud enough but not TOO loud. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend you purchase it. ... show more

    • EXCELLENT T-SHIRT PRESS
I researched T-shirt presses for a few months & decided to go with this one. It was a day late getting here, but that didn't bother me & I was kept updated on it from Amazon. I cant say enough great things about this heat press. It was packaged very well & there was no damage. It is very solid & very sturdy. The price was great. No complaints here.     • Does not lock down
This heat press does not click or lock down as shown in the video. You must try to hold it down as hard as possible. Uneven heat, not able to transfer at all. Update: it was user error, must press down very firmly

    • WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE
I have had this machine for about a year now. It hasn't seen a ton of use. Two HUGE problems with it, one which is a very serious hazard. Problem 1: After a few months, the timer stopped functioning correctly. I mean, when you would turn it on, it would automatically count down, UNLESS you flipped the power switch on/off a couple of times, then it would start when you pressed it down. However, it will not stop after releasing. I had my doubts, considering the switch functions correctly Via bench testing. The mainboard has failed on the unit, meaning, I can remove the annoying speaker/buzz, and use it without a timer. Issue #2. The FUSE everyone thinks protects the unit, actually does not. It is a 10 Amp fuse, on a device running around 1200 watts... That alone shoudl trigger a red flag. BUT WAIT, Here is the kicker- The fuse ONLY controls the power switch built in light when its turned on!!! Yep, you read that right. Take your fuse out, and turn on the unit. It will power on as normal, Minus the power switch light. A simple test to show you that you have no protection ( why I bought this unit). Rediculous, Absolutely ridiculous for ANY manufacturer to do this, other than to deceive the customer with such an important item. This thing is going for scrap, I recommend you don't make the same mistake I did by purchasing this. You'll regret it, unless you "plan to use it" and it just sits in your closet after a couple uses. ... show more
