I've been using Royale for at least 10 years. European-made (believe Italy) will last a long time. I had 2 previously and the 2nd one was on its last leg. I will order another one (as a back-up just in case). Can't do without it. I used to give them as Christmas gifts and had to order more for them as back-ups! So those 2 for 1 sales came in handy. What I especially like about it is it treats whatever hair type you have. I have coarse and frizzy hair, so I can up the temperature, but it doesn't burn it. I believe using the right accoutrements like shampoo, moisturizer, and Oliology coconut dry oil mist, hair oil, and spray helps a lot (difficult to find and I have to also order these from Amazon). Of course had gotten at the mall. Cheap plastic over priced x3 almost slips out of hand not easy to hold on to. Don't believe I can return after being told it was safer for granddaughters hair it says it isn't on box. Dosent work as well as my fifty dollar straightners.
