Coming from an engineer and a home bike mechanic, this is a tremendous value. Aluminum frame with nice welds and a tapered head tube (are you kidding me?), Shimano derailleur, and a stem / headset that was set up with the correct pre-load right out of the box! Sure there were a couple of minor scratches and the fork is gimmicky, but the frame alone is worth the cost of this bike! This is an excellent value for a well-constructed, easy-to-assemble kids' bike. It is heavy, but solidly built and should last a long time. The double disc brakes stop it quickly. This is a good mountain bike from royalbaby. It is partially assembled, things like handlebars and reflectors need to be attached. It is very comfortable to ride, with a front fork. The seat is well padded and adjustable. The handlebar brakes work well, and provide safe stopping. The shifter is on the handlebar as well and is easy to use. The tires are wide and capable of offroad riding. It is relatively light, with a rugged frame that seems durable. It is an attractive bike with a nice multitone paint job. It is easy to ride, and adjust for comfort and height. I like the 21 speed derailleur. It is a sooth and stable ride overall. It can grow with your kid into adulthood depending on the size.
