Features

  • FUTURISTIC LOOK - Every kid dreams about exploring the unknown outer space. Our never-grown-up designers bring this dream to life in this bike. The die-cast Mg Aluminum captures the streamlined shape of a spacecraft, without any solder join. A perfect choice for kids looking to outperform most bikes in the neighborhood.
  • CONSISTENT QUALITY - With millions of units sold in the past decade, our continuously iterating original design parts are recognized by families. The Magnesium bike is a combination of the flexible shape of carbon fiber and a weight reduction of aluminum, along with our reputable original parts; that's how we define our flagship series.
  • KIDS EXCLUSIVE - We redesigned all the significant components to fit the needs of children. The short-distance brake levers, sealed bearings, and dual disc brakes are all developed to make our bikes easier and hassle-free to own.
  • WEIGHT SAVING - A perfect combination of strength and functionality. We reduces the bike's overall weight by using a lighter Mg-Al Alloy frame. Compared to a bike equipped with these high-performance parts, the magnesium bike is relatively more lightweight.
  • ALWAYS RELIABLE - RoyalBaby bike complies with the CPSC standards, and is trusted by millions of families in more than 80 countries globally. Customers will be provided with high-level warranty and local 24 hours service when contacting RoyalBaby for any queries.

  • Surprise! Surprise!
Color: Black Style: 16 Inch With Kickstand and Training Wheels
To be honest I don't ever write reviews but I figured I would based on the amount of research and time I spent picking a bike for my 5 yr old. I wanted a light weight bike but something he could grow into and landed on the Shuttle bike. I would consider myself a bike guy and know quite a bit on the subject so I didn't want a cheap heavy bike for my son, i was pleasantly surprised when I got the Shuttle bike delivered. Here's why: Very high quality, all parts fit together well and the bike is strong and very light weight. Set up only took a few minutes, my son was off and riding with in 10 minutes of opening the box. Training wheels are well designed and keep the bike perfectly straight up and down. Good design and easy to install. I was surprised by how light it was, my 5 yr old likes to pick it up and move it around to show how strong he is. I personally ride a titanium bike and magnesium is lighter that that. Experts say that the only issue w magnesium is that it's softer than most metals so keep that in mind if you think that could be an issue. Front hand disk brake works well and is good quality. Bike looks super cool and easy to ride. The only thing i'm not real crazy about is that they have Royal Baby printed to much on the bike. The tires have it as the tread pattern the handle bars have it, the grips have it and a few other places. But I can live with it. Hope this info helps! ... show more

  • Beautiful quality bike
Color: Black Style: 16 Inch With Kickstand and Training Wheels
This is probably my 3rd or 4th Royalbaby bike purchase and I am super satisfied with the product. Customer support is also quick and reachable via call. Dual disc brakes with fancy frame, my kid just loving it. There was one issue though and was quickly fixed by the supplier. Highly recommended bike. ... show more

  • After a year of use, still a great bike
Color: Black Style: 16 Inch With Kickstand and Training Wheels
I was really on the fence with this bike after reading some of the reviews prior to my purchase. When the bike arrived, it was very well packed and easy to assemble. I do agree with the comment regarding how tight the rear bearing was out of the box. The back wheel would stop shortly after spinning it. Taking some of the pre-load off the rear bearing by loosening the outer nuts and then turning one of the inner nuts 1/3 seem to help a ton. You just have to hold the inner nut with a wrench while retightening the outer nut back up. I'm sure once the bearings were broken in, it wouldn't have been totally necessary to make that extra adjustment. The pedals felt the same way...tight at first. The magnesium frame is not as light as I would have expected, but just turning 5, he could easily pick the bike up if it fell over. The overall size and position of the frame and seat post to the pedals seems decent for a child just starting out. He can easily get started without help and the few times he has fallen, he can catch his footing on the ground before totally wiping out. The hand brake is a must for kids starting out. I can't believe we all didn't severely injure ourselves years ago learning to ride on the pedal-back Bendix brakes while trying to balance. It is so much easier for a child to regulate speed or suddenly stop for traffic with the hand brake. Although this bike has pedal brakes too, it seems pretty hard to stop quickly using them. They don't seem to lock up like the old ones would. The design of the bike gets a ton of attention. Shortly after it came, we biked around Mackinac Island several times and heard "hey, look at that cool bike" constantly. At 5 years old, we were amazed he could bike the 8 mile lap around the island and want to do it again the next day. It must be a sign it is comfortable to ride. The only real negatives.... he loved the bell and it broke shortly after the first wipe out. Beyond that, it is almost impossible to mount a water bottle anywhere on the bike. I wish the frame was shaped slightly different or it had some clever mounting holes for a bottle. I saw a rear seat post bottle mount, but I can't imagine anyone would want road spray blasting the container they drink out of. Overall though a success. Not cheap nor expensive for a first bike. Easy to ride and has held up to plenty of tips and falls. ... show more

  • Actually overkill for the age/price
Pretty bada$$ bike! My daughter just turned four, but she's been riding without training wheels since 3 1/2. 16-inch wheels are too big. Had to order online to get 14s. This bike is light and fast. Seems quite well made. The disk brakes are pretty sweet on a bike this size. Only issue is that she favored the back-pedal braking on the old bike. This has a free spin on backpedaling. So she's going to have to learn this new style or eventually crash into something. It's funny, because we got another one of their bikes years ago for her brother, and I wrote a one-star review because it only had the front-wheel handle brake, causing him to tumble over. This one has both. We just repositioned the front brake awkwardly so she'll favor the back. Dumb name, but the company is capable of making a great product! ... show more

  • I wanted an over engineered bike for my kids and this is it
I wanted disc breaks I wanted a free hub Does a 4 and 6 year old need a bike like this? No, of course not, but I wanted them to have the same stuff as my bike. And the Royalbaby Space models are the only ones I found that aren't over $300.
