How do I rate dog food. I don't know if the flavor is good. I doubt my puppy knows what it taste like. Royal Canin was recommended 12 years ago my 2 girls ate it all their lives and now my puppy is eating it. I think all dog food is overpriced. But my girls have to eat and this was the most recommended and the best I can afford. ... show more

We got our pup from a rescue that only feeds with Royal Canin which I thought odd since they were a rescue. But we kept her on it after bringing her home and that was 8 months ago and she’s a happy healthy 10 month old who only gets the best!!

Vet recommended as her first choice after Hill’s science diet and Purina puppy chow. The latter is one third the price so there’s that. Our puppy likes the food with so repercussions. I can’t recommend the price but the dog food is excellent- according to my pup.
