It's an ok iron, but not worth the money, in my opinion. The eco mode is useless, I still cannot figure out who would use that and why. I do miss having temperature controls, because this iron just does not feel like it gets hot enough and the quality of ironing is no better than a cheaper iron. This is the second Rowenta steam iron I’ve owned my first one was so great that when I dropped it and broke it I had to get another one. However this one is not as good as my first one, it will leak on your clothes, which is very disappointing. My first one was much better. I love this iron and didn’t return it because it works so well, but my only complaint (and the only reason I didn’t rate it five stars) is the fact that it’s nearly impossible to tell how much water is left in the reservoir when using it. I turn the steam level to about halfway, and I run out of water after ironing about two button-up oxford shirts. This is similar to most other irons, I believe, and I’ve gotten in the habit of just pouring water into it without checking to see how much water is left, but about half the time I end up spill at least a little water on my ironing board because the plastic reservoir is so dark in color, I can’t see how much is left or how much I need to pour exactly. I'll start by saying. The steam was great and the clothes were beautifully ironed. Then I'll say that these irons are 2,3 even 4 times the cost of the average iron. Noñe seemed to have all the features my old Sunbeam has,so I picked the most suitable. This one didn't have the retractable cord, which I already miss. The opening for adding water is small and not easy to hit. You really need a funnel. Hopefully given time I will like the good results enough that I won't mind the inconveniences. I am most impressed with the amount of steam generated by this iron and the little pressure I must place on a garment being ironed. The time I spend to iron a dress shirt and pants was greatly reduced with this iron. I normally iron the clothing I will wear the next day on the night before.
