I am completely pleased with this Roulette Steam iron! I have always loved this brand. I have tried some others, especially small, lightweight irons, and they don’t do the job. I have some arthritis in my hands and find this iron works well.

    • Not hot enough
We iron Church linens - I wanted to return this iron shortly after I bought it but we had already used it three times and thought I couldn't. Someone else has been doing the ironing since April, so I took no account of it till I had to iron the linens today. It simply doesn't get hot enough! I had it all the way up on linen and the cloths were only normally damp and not thick, I went over it time and time again with the gauge up as high as it could go and still they were wrinkled and damp! I never in my life (have been ironing Church linens 60 years!) used an iron all the way up on linen (even though I was ironing linens) The red light stayed on the whole time, even though I didn't put the iron down. This iron was a big disappointment. I don't like to write negative reviews but if you need a really hot iron, this is not the one you want. (the weight is fine - heavier is better with linen) Sorry Rowena! ... show more
