  • Got a dead string
Size: 1 Pack
I have gotten these strings before and have had fair luck with them. Unfortunately, getting 3 good strings and one bad one is not very helpful. I tend to put new strings on my bass before each gig I do so I use a lot of them. Having to go through the time and effort to take off old strings, put on new ones, and then have to take those off and put new ones back on is time not what I expect to have to go through when I get what are supposed to be quality strings. I have had some good luck with these strings but now feel like I'm shooting craps when I buy new ones as to getting a good set or a bad set. Good luck if you decide to buy some! ... show more

  • The first and still the best bass strings for me.
Size: 1 Pack
I have played bass for over 50 years. I started using the RS66's in the 60's. I play guitar and mandolin as well, and for the last 3 years I had no bass gigs. Now I do. I have some weakness in my right arm and saw that RS makes a medium-light gauge (.90 low E) and decided to try them, they sound just as good and, after adjusting my bridge for the lighter gauge, they play perfectly and sound great. It was a YouTube clip with Chris Squire that made me investigate the other gauges. He used the original gauge but his hands are incredibly huge. So I'm a big fan of RS and the fact they have created a lot of different gauges while keeping that sound. ... show more

  • Only string I will use on my rickenbacker
Size: 1 Pack
Use these on my rickenbacker 4003. The medium lights are ideal for this bass in my opinion. In fact on my rick, this gauge is the only one that seats in the nut on the D string. They play and sound great.

  • Great lighter set of bass strings
Size: 1 Pack
Installed these strings on an acoustic guitar that I converted into a hollow body bass. I wanted a lighter set and they sound really good. From what I understand, these are the strings Geddy Lee uses and if they are good enough for him, they are definitely good enough for me. This is the 2nd set of rotosound bass strings I have purchased and both sets are still on the basses. ... show more

  • Nice, light and full bodied sound
Size: 1 Pack
These are a nice, light pair of bass strings yet still sound full bodied. Certainly I would buy these again, and probably only buy these in the future.

  • Great Strings!
Size: 1 Pack
Before you buy these, take into consideration you're playing style and preferred sound. I bought these looking for easy to bend strings and I found out that Cliff Burton of Metallica used this gauge. They did not disappoint for 'Tallica tones, but must bass players use thicker strings so they aren't super versatile but still some wiggle room. Great strings overall! ... show more

  • Bass guitar strings
Size: 1 Pack
Excellent bass guitar strings a little lighter and a little bit more funkier to play. Anything That Swing 66 puts out by rotosound is awesome you cannot go wrong.
