I bought this to keep an emergency pack in my car, with basic survival type gear. I think it is very well constructed, with thick fabric and stitching. The buckle seems durable, and this has been tossed around my car for about 3 months, with no signs of wear. I bet this will last as long as me.

    • Tough & functional size for many uses
Medium-Large size. Made of tough stiff materials. I was a bit put off by the multiple dangling threads (despite the tag proclaiming "Quality Craftsmanship") and the distortions and folds in the stiff fabric caused by storage and shipping - this is one product that could have used crumpled up paper or another temporary filler to maintain it's shape while it was stored. The strap has a pad and is long (approx. 50 inches max.) and adjustable, so it can easily be worn across the torso by a big person. Small grab handle on top. Lots of attachment points, including for a belt. Lots of space inside the main compartment - it can hold 2 Nalgen liter bottles (upright) - It can hold my DLSR camera and an extra longer lens. It has a drawstring closure making it weather-resistant. Note that all the inside and outside pockets can hold a Kindle Fire HD-7 inch, but not if it's in a case, such as the Amazon OEM case. Outside front (zippered) pocket can hold a charger, cables, spare batteries, ect. Additional pocket on the outside can hold a mobile phone or even a large GPS and is secured by the main strap and buckle. A good value for the money. ... show more

we have full size bugout bags at home, but I wanted something smaller for the cars, camping, day trips, etc. These bags hold everything you need to get to your bugout spot or just back home if something happens while you're out. It's holding a life straw and iodine tablets, trail mix, a bamboo spork, a multi-tool, compass, two knives, a knife sharpener, toothbrush and toothpaste, aspirin, two flashlights, 4 packs and a waterproof tube of waterproof matches, a lighter, a tin of livefire, a magnesium fire starter, two Mylar blankets, 100 feet of paracord, a balaclava, and a handkerchief. 1. This product that I received looks different from the picture. 2. bad too small to put anything else other than water bottle. 3. the length of the strip is too short. 4. I will return this bag becuz it doesn't fit me.

I'm a Maxpedition addict but purchased this bag for the days when I need something more compact than my Maxpedition Jumbo, It does the job required, but doesn't feel as sturdy.
