This rug is very pretty but does not grip at all. It slides around quite a bit. I use it on the floor at the foot of my bed so thankfully it is not walked on a ton. Good price for what you get.

This really is a super-soft rug. Whatever fiber was used to make it is a pleasure to run one's hands over. Don't be put off by the packaging, which is a highly compressed vacuum pack. After being exposed to the air for a couple of days the rug does de-compress.

This rug feels luxurious on our feet. I bought it for our entryway but it seems like it would be better for a large bathroom. We like the rug but I gave it 4 stars because it's hand wash and it's too slippery to use a door handle security stick. The stick slides instead of staying put. So it doesn't work for our intended purpose, so we used it in a different room. It will work in a bathroom or a bedside rug. Not for use in the sun as it will fade etc.
