Unless your ceilings are very flat and the box you wire it in is level, the square shape can make the light look wonky. It still looks ok. I did find it funny that, in the two lights I bought to put in the same mudroom, the stems are swapped. So one light is mounted perpendicular to the door and the lights point in the same direction as the bolts. In the other light the stems point in the other direction. I am the only one that will notice this because I put them up. The price is so good for these that I'm just not that worried about those details. They look great with edison bulbs in them and they do the job of lighting up the mudroom. ... show more

I like the black and gold coloring and the square, modern design, perfect for my midcentury style. it is a heavy light but I was interested in having this without the glass(open all around) so we removed the little screws on the top, open side, took the frame off, removed the glass, and put the frame back on. Ordered to use in our upstairs hallway. Replaced an old dated dome light. This gave the space a more modern and clean look and provided more light to the area. Delivery was quick and product was packaged well. Takes 2 people to install - one to hold in place while the other hooks up/installs.

Beautiful light fixture but was a little surprised by the gold finish of the bulb holders, looks very cheap/fake. Easy to install but fixture is a little heavy so it helps for one person to hold the fixture while the other works on the wiring. Also, there is no glass for bottom but doesn't bother us. The light is good quality, & simple to install. I ordered one to try because there were no USA reviews but once I received it , I ordered 3 more. The only thing that could be improved is that the wire nuts that came with the light were a little on the small side but still work.
