Rosen v1 hybrid is absolutely a beautiful guitar, stunning overall. I ordered the black burst model! Footnote: key points 1. Setup imperative to playability and sound characteristics, 2. Tuning was cumbersome and required time and effort to tune strings. 3. Once setup guitar plays with ease no fret buzz or dead spots and sound is just fantastic better than expected. Notes ring out loud and clear volume excellent nice chime playing chords or fingerpicking. String spacing is perfect for me, my hands are large so playing is effortless no strain important to me because I had hand surgery and finger flexibility and strength has been compromised. With proper setup a playing profession can make this guitar sing! Bear in mind it takes approx a week on an acoustic for the neck to stabilize and new build and wood materials to mature. Action at the 12th fret low e is 2.50 mm Overall I am impressed with the Rosen v1 hybrid and would buy another Rosen acoustic with confidence! Installed a x2 double wireless rechargeable pickup mag/mic which sounds amazing thru my spark edge, no feedback, clear and resonate and no booming effect, quiet except for sound repo! Sitka top is exquisite, mah back and sides same. Oku neck is amazing reddish color compared to mah. Neck is straight as an arrow. Rosewood fretboard and bridge top notch. Rosewood is beautiful with nice color and grain striping. Fret wires polished and rounded! Design is outstanding! Delivers in all regards. is superb, wood marteriialsremarkable. Playability spot on medium string action ok for me I can play all the way up the neck non fret buzz. Prefer a lower action but this workable and the sound is perfect so I am not going to shave the saddle to lower the action. Now the story this is not about if the box beginner guitar, I have been playing for some time and setup many many guitars. This guitar will definitely need a setup. I tried to tune the fiesta thing and the g string was stubborn tuned destined over and over but couldn’t get it tuned I thought the tuner was broken. So I detained the entire guitar, adjusted the neck relief to no curve either way straight in level. Then tuned from lowcecto high e. Finally got g close to in tune. Tuned and retuned about 5 times to stretch the nylon strings out. Then adjusted the tuning pegs screws by tightening the string that kept slipping out of tune. 1/16 to 1/8 turn be careful fractionally adjust these screws. Best sent off to a luthier to do the setup! Finally staying tune fur one song then slips. I’ll witty at the orgs and stretch the strings. So far the tuners seem to be working ok. I’ll change the strings out late. Now the best part sound quality beautiful. Sweet as Jazmine in spring here in the Carolinas! Playability also superb! Hope I can nail the tuning issue! ... show more

Body of guitar feels kinda cheapo...not wood. Sound is very good though and action is good. Cross between a classical and acoustic. Im happy with it
