I bought a Martin road series guitar a week before buying this guitar and this guitar sounds better and is easier to play. AND it’s beautiful, too! (Also, this guitar was about $800 cheaper than my Martin) Wow. I have owned many guitars and I must say, this is up there in the top three. I was certainly not expecting this kind of quality from a guitar that was made in a country not known for their guitar making skills. It’s a joy to play this thing. Oh, almost forgot. I bought the “red” model. The extras are fine but didn’t need them. I tuned this baby up by ear right out of the box and once the strings stretch a bit I’m sure the tuning will hold. Recieved guitar , and right off the bat, wrong color, returned item. Recieved 2nd guitar, Wrong color again. The guitar in question, could not be tuned . Every time yo touched the strings to tune and / or / to chord, the frets and strings were touching and the sound of the chord fingered was not there due to the tinging of the strings hitting the frets and no chord. This guitar has a beautiful clear lacquer finish on it. It has a deep mellow sound, especially on the lower strings. It's very easy to play, and the neck isn't too thick and stays in tune.

I have had this G31 Guitar , Brown, for a couple of weeks and I can’t stop playing it. The quality of the guitar is up on the charts and as far as the sound, it’s a warm sound that brings out a rich tone you normally wouldn't get in this price range. I purchased similar but returned them because of either defects or it just sounded like it was struggling to bring out a half way decent sound. I can’t say enough about this Guitar. I have to say something about the beauty of the wood, you’ll just keep on staring at it, it is so beautiful. Have fun. ... show more
