I bought this as an anniversary gift for my husband. He really loved the gift and is overall happy with it, but sometimes when he plays it sounds out of tune. No problem, he just tunes it back up, and I like that because he's learning how to play and I think it's good to spend time tuning your guitar. The one thing I've noticed that I'm disappointed about is that on the right side of the guitar, which I tried to show in the picture, the finish is rubbing off where his arms rest. I know that it can happen over time, but our anniverysary was July 30th amd he's only played it 3 or 4 times since he got it. I didn't think the finish would start coming off already. First thing that stands out is how lightweight it is. It sort of makes it feel cheap. Overall it looks really good but close up inspection shows several flaws in the paint job, which I could understand if I had chosen the used option but I paid full price, expecting a fully intact guitar. It was a present for my son and luckily he doesn’t seem upset about it or I would have returned it. My stepdad, who plays bass, said it needed some sort of adjustment but the guitar didn’t have the adjustment piece built in (sorry I am not familiar with terms he used). Personally I think it sounds fine- like an acoustic guitar should sound. My stepdad did say it was fine for a beginner to learn chords on. Just wanted to give this feedback so others have an informed decision and know exactly what they are purchasing. I knew it wouldn’t be the greatest craftsmanship but I did expect the guitar to have a solid paint job since it was 90 bucks. ... show more

I bought this for my son, who is teaching himself how to play. He started out with an electric, but wanted the acoustic also. Its a very nice guitar and sounds great. I bought the white 3/4 junior size 38 inch guitar because I didn't want a bulky guitar due to my small stature and I am a beginner it was a great buy. The only problem my guitar had a nick on the edge on the black part so it was obvious because the guitar is white.
