They are very pretty, I love them but they are a little small for the windows. Very nice for other setting indoors though. They are very light and easy to use. They take the flat watch type batteries And comes with several extra batteries. A good value.

These “candles” give off a sparkling light. The whole “candle” illuminates, which make for a brighter effect than if it was just the flame. Now, the batteries run down pretty quickly. And they are those little button batteries that can’t be recharged. I would’ve liked a aa or aaa battery that I could recharge, but guess what?! They give you extra batteries! How great is that? What company gives you batteries anymore? Let alone extra batteries? Nice touch. They are made of plastic. Not heavyweight. The brightness I guess would depend on the color you chose and how strong the batteries are. They arrived in a pretty beaten up box, BUT none of the “candles” were damaged at all.     • light dims within 15-30 minutes
As cheap as these are, I wanted to like them for the lights. That's the whole point. When you first turn them on they light up all the way (and seem cheerful). In 15-30 minutes only the lowest portion is still lit up. After a few weeks of hardly using them because it wasn't worth the energy to flip the switch for so little light, I decided to try the extra batteries. With the package I got there were 10 extra batteries (some reviewers have mentioned 20). Each "candle" requires 3 batteries so I used 9 of those to put new batteries in 3 of the candles. At first they looked great, seemed brighter than original. But same deal: the light faded down to the lowest part of the candle pretty fast. I'll toss these out. But I was also surprised that each candle required 3 batteries, for so little light. It's just sad because when they first light up all the way they are quite cheerful. When I first used these they were very bright and beautiful to look at; however, after a couple of hours they started to fade. They included packs of batteries, which is much appreciated, and I changed them all out with the included batteries. I bought these for Christmas, but didn't use them and forgot to send them back. I'm getting a chance to use them this evening. The power is out! They are bright, very pretty, light weight, and stable. Perfect amount of light to move from room to room when you don't want to waste your phone battery!
