Fun and easy. This was my first such book book craft. I didn’t have difficulty putting the pieces together as some reviews suggest, but I did find the pieces that slot together without glue fell out easily. I suggest gluing everything. The green light is on a sensor and doesn’t stay on long. I would have preferred just a regular on and off switch.

I did 100 book nooks so it is not new to me. Quality of this one is not the best. Pieces were breaking when taking them out. But the worst part is putting everything together. The first slot matches but the others do not. This is really bad. If i knew i would not buy this. The seller should process a refund as this book nook can only go to trash bin.

Even though the directions are easy, a lot of the pieces are not cut right so they don’t fit properly and you can’t put it together without having to file down or cut edges off

One of the easiest mini kits I've put together so far. This one was mostly just punch the prepainted wood shapes out, then glue them into their corresponding slot. The led light is spooky greenish, and there's a foggy mirror at the back that really adds to the deep dark scary alley effect. There are the requisite witches, ghosts and other creepy critters poking out from the sides of the alley. The finished kit is about the size and shape of a large hardback book. I got this to make for a friend and she & hubby both loved it. I really enjoyed the building process and almost hated to give it away. But I have enough of these dang addictive Rolife kits. This has probably been my favorite build so far because it was simpler than other kits but the finished product looked more complicated than it was to make. If you're a sucker for Halloween stuff you'll probably enjoy this kit. Like all Rolife kits, they are organized and parts labeled well, first class planning and packing, and easy to understand step by step photo instructions.

I love it so much it came out so good. I hated building it though, maybe i'm just bad at it but it was very annoying and frustrating at times. There's a lot of little details so that was nice. Make sure you have good glue prob gorilla glue is best that's what i used and AAA batteries for the lights. But after building it, it came out so good i love it sm.

Project was very easy, and only took me about an hour. Instructions have great little QR codes to take you to instructions if needed. Be very careful popping out laser cut pieces.
