I had 200 acres to fence so I used this wire along with a cheaper smaller wire. No comparison. Spend the money and get the bigger wire... much much more visible to the Livestock and the deer... it's a good wire!!

This is terrific polywire and the price compared to the roll sizes sold at tractor supply lands this product squarely on top. The quality is equal to that of a farm supply store but the length for the price is the real value here.

I ordered the HQ Pet and Livestock Electric Fence Polywire 1/8” with 9 Stainless Steel Strands to place in my chicken run. I live in a rural area that is surrounded by woods and have predators that will decimate my flock without some sort of protection. My coop is enclosed with fencing but foxes and racoons are notorious for digging under to get to the chickens. By placing this polywire 6 inches from the ground, around the coop, I don't have any issues with animals trying to get in. It keeps coyotes and wild dogs away as well. I like that the polywire is thin but is also visible, even from a distance. The polywire comes in a roll that is 1640 in length and has 9 hot wires intertwined within the rope. Putting it up was a breeze and once connected to the charger it packs a punch! It's weather resistant and has a breaking point of 310 pounds, which is plenty strong for my application. The polywire is thin and light enough to use as a temporary fence or be permanently installed. There is enough on the roll to do a 100’x100’ foot run with 3 strands and still have some left over. Overall I am happy with my order.

The Electric Fence Polywire is from very good quality. No wires that stick out and hurt your fingers, it reliably carries the electricity and is easy to cut. It is also easy enough to see but still blends in. The polywire itself earns 5 stars. I just gave 4 stars because the cardboard spool broke immediately and I had such a hard time to unroll the polywire. It took me so much longer to put up our fence and that was too annoying.
