I wasn’t sure what to expect with these ropeless battle ropes, and I’ll admit they felt a little goofy the first few minutes I used them. Once I got the rhythm down, though, they started to make a lot more sense and delivered a surprisingly good arm and shoulder workout. I really like that they’re quiet and compact, which makes them easy to use in my small space in the basement. The adjustable rings are helpful for adjusting the intensity up or down depending on how much ambition I have that day. The springs are heavy duty, the handles feel solid and comfortable, and the wrist straps add a nice layer of safety. They don’t replace traditional battle ropes, but for small home workouts they’re effective and easy to use once you get the hang of them.

Very wobbly/weak, there needs to be more resistance in the long part that acts as the "rope". Try and buy a different item that is stiffer to get any kind of results with this kind of equipment. For a beginner maybe this would be okay, but it's much too weak for me.

I like the adjustability; yes, these give you a good workout. I can’t compare to actual battle ropes because I don’t have any experience with them. I’ll know in a month if I have noticeable improvement or I fell for a boomer-targeted gadget.
