As a tool, this works really well for training. It helped my son with his swing and that would normally make this 5 stars. However, the price they are charging is outrageous. I can't imagine it cost them more than a few bucks to make these (and that's being generous). I'm surprised there aren't competitors here, but at least you can find cheap foam balls from 3rd party sellers instead of what they are trying to charge for additional balls. If you have the money and don't mind overpaying, this is a good tool to have and work with as part of your training.

This is a super easy hitting tool to use for kids. It has helped my son learn how to keep from casting his bat. I brought it to one of his baseball practices and several of the coaches bought additional rope bats for the team after that practice. We use off the tee and soft toss. Highly recommend.

It's great for young softball players. My daughter is in 10u and developed a hitch in her swing. Whenever I would try to remind her not to drop the bat, it made her frustrated and she'd say, "I'm not trying to!" We tried the rope bat, I let her have a go at it and she was self correcting, while I just sat back. She does every now and the revert back, but I will pull this out at home while we are practicing to remind her how she is supposed to swing.

My son was casting in his swing horribly! And only took a few sessions with this bat and he was able to correct what he had been doing. It is so easy To use! If you are casting, you can't hit the ball, this allows you to have that sure swing all the way through! My son continues to use the rope bat in his training to ensure he keeps a good habit. The simplicity of this tool and the correction that you see is absolutely amazing! It is so easy to use and so simple to correct bad habits! You just have to continue to drill with it to ensure those bad habits don't return. It fits not only my 11 year old son, but my seven year old is also using it. The bat itself is lightweight. It is constructed nicely. The balls are also a nice foam material. It really does help correct swings, it lives up to its function!

I can not say enough good things about this purchase! It has taught our whole team how to swing properly and have noticed huge difference in their batting! Kinda pricey but 100% worth every penny. Definitely consider buying the one with the 12 balls.
