I appreciated the design of this bed frame, which is very tall. Do not combine it with any sort of box spring; otherwise, you'll be jumping into the bed. Great for storing objects underneath.

Update: It didn't take long for the replacement frame to break. My son weighs over 1000lbs LESS than the claimed weight restriction. This item would be good for small children only based on 2 experiences. I will take photos once we take the frame apart. I have pictures from the first one too. We'll soon see if there is a common denominator. Alls I can hope for is my money back after 2 broken frames. Based on our personal experiences I have to rate 0-1 Stars. My son began sleeping in his new bed late July 2023. He moved around a lot when in bed and hangs out on his bed when he has friends over. It's only been used for 5 months. Last night he came to me and said the middle legs are bending and he's afraid to sleep in his bed. I looked and found the middle legs are bending in the same direction. It must be replaced for safety reasons. You get what you pay for. The frame might be made of heavy metal but the connection between the frame and the legs are weak and the screws fall out constantly no matter how tight or loose you make them. Once we have a replacement and can take the bed apart, we will update with pictures.
