I bought the cheaper, thinner, painted Amazon versions of these and they bent on the first use. I have a set of vintage head/footboards that sit fairly high up, and in order for my frame to not sit too high off of the ground I have to choke down and use the lower part of the bracket. These held up great, and are well worth the extra few dollars for supporting a real business making better products ... show more

Worked very well for the headboard. But because of the way the bed frame was made, weren't able to connect the wooden footboard to it.

It was delivered on time and well packaged. It was a great solution for my twin bed. Previously It had bolts to attach the head board.that I lost in a previous move. The headboard already had slots that could be used.It fit perfectly and was easy to install. The bed frame was fairy new. I didn't need the extra 4 screws supplied. We have a non-standard installation. We have a Queen bed frame that is raised 6". We got a hook and pin headboard that we wanted to install. Most people put the weight of the bed on the headboard. The riser stands would put the bed far from the wall. So we needed to hang the headboard on the hooks instead of the other-way-around. I made brackets to connect the frame to these hooks. I had to swap side with them, but it works. See picture. So if that is your purpose, they can work that way. To be honest, these brackets are really strong and probably overkill for our application.
