First off, Amazon's Rufus AI states that this watch has the Sekio Japan NH35 movement, and the dial itself read "Japan Mov't" under the 6:00 marker. Instead, it has the cheap Chinese Miyota movement. The screw-down crown is grindy. Setting this watch requires you to turn the crown counter-clockwise to set the time. In 10 years of watch collecting, I have never seen a watch that has to be set backwards. That's what you get with a cheap Chinese movement. The cyclops is a hideous, unnecessary eyesore. It's slightly cloudy, reflects glare like nobody's business, and just gets in the way. I have Seikos with cyclopes that aren't so obtrusive. The "sapphire" crystal isn't the clearest I've seen, but I've seen worse on Invicta watches. My guess is it's made of a mixture of sapphire and something else, or it's just cheap sapphire. No anti-reflective (AR) coating means the crystal is mostly a portable mirror. Up close, the coined edge of the bezel looks cheap: stamped instead of machined. You'll notice much more sparkle on a better quality watch. I didn't even get to the bracelet, but the links and link screws are smaller than a good jubilee bracelet. The lume is not quite as bad as I expected. It lasts for a little while, but it won't get you halfway through the night. I've seen worse, like lume that dies as soon as you take your flashlight off it (I use a UV flashlight). Overall it's a nice attempt by Pagani, but it's not worthy of all the online hype. It's not the quality I want in an every day watch or something I'd expect to last. I'd wear it to a funeral, but not to a dinner party. The price of this watch has more than doubled, plus they cheapened out by swapping the Japanese NH35 for the Chinese Miyota, and have not updated the specs or the writing on the dial, which is now false advertising. After having collected thousands of dollars of quality auto watches over the years, I went down the "cheap" road after buying Invicta's 40mm diver. For $80 those are really nice automatics with an NH35 movement. Invicta's lume sucks, but overall it's a far better watch for less money. There's a reason why Amazon has a yellow box warning for this watch, saying "Customers often return this item". Spend more and get yourself a better automatic watch. ... show more
