  • Fabulous Skate! Here's Why:
Size: 9 Color: BLACK/LIGHT BLUE
*2 year update: Still holding up with wheel changes and hard use, even with more demanding tricks like toe spins. *1 year update: These things are still and more amazing. Weekly use and plenty of scratches, but sturdy sturdy sturdy. They fit now like my fav pair of scunchbacks.* Wow! Just wow. I've been trying a few Rollerblade skates: RB Cruiser W, Zetrablade Elite, Bladerunner....but these are awesome. My favorite, with the Bladerunners a close second for functionality and comfort. I need a lightweight skate for artistic skating; and so far, I love the Rollerblade fitness line for that very purpose! 1.) The frames. Composite, but can stand up to skate dance and slalom! At first I didn't love that feature, but it's as tough as aluminum frames. And way, WAAAY lighter. In typical Rollerblade fashion, these have nice short frames that are only as long as the boot, so SUPER maneuverable. I took the stock wheels off to replace them with 85A (I like a nice hard wheel) and rockered these 76-80-80-76 for extra maneuverability. 2.) The wheels on these are super zippy compared to the Bladerunner, so I would rate them Intermediate, which is where I'm at, but a beginner might have some issues with them. Axles are very durable quality steel. 3.) Nice, THICK laces, with lacing options farther up the skate if you want it. Definitely like this system better than the Elite, makes for a nice, snug fit. Keeps the feet tight and placed well. 4.) Speaking of a snug fit, these have a plushy integrated liner that's a bit high, so I like that extra stability around the ankle. 5.) True to Size! I am a women's 9, with narrow feet. Perfect fit. Perfect. I did say these had a nice snug fit, didn't I? I like to be able to put my foot exactly where I'm skating, whether it's crossovers or spins, so these are great! 6.) Breathable AND plastic capped toe. Important! Bladerunner and Elite do not have plastic capped toes. I personally like this because I do a lot of tricks with my toe wheels. All in all, my new personal favorites! My only regret is I wish I had found these before. Cheers! ... show more

  • Nice to see that the brand still matters sometimes
Size: 6 Color: BLACK/LIGHT BLUE
Gave this as a gift to a beginner, and it has not disappointed at all. Comfortable, easily adjustable, quality feel, no muss or fuss. I also had given a different pair from a "generic" company as a gift- these were very similar in style, lower price, and while those were adequate, you could easily appreciate the higher overall quality of the Rollerblades. So, there are viable options, but I feel these are worth the extra money if you plan to use them regularly. ... show more

  • Great option
Size: 9 Color: BLACK/LIGHT BLUE
Upgrading my pair from 10 years ago and it makes a huge difference. These wheels just roll so smoothly. Great option for the price.

  • Comfy inline skates
Size: 9 Color: BLACK/LIGHT BLUE
These are comfortable and a good price. I'm interested in getting better at maneuvering and footwork, and these aren't great for that. For my purposes, I wish I'd have gotten a hard shell for more ankle support. But, that's on me. This is a great skate for a casual skater. The soft boot makes it comfortable for distance. I usually skate about 1 mile at a time and my feet still feel great after that distance. No blisters. No uncomfortable spots. I've gotten some cheap off-brand skates for my kids and, unfortunately, those fall apart quickly. So, as an adult (who's not going to outgrow my skates every few months), it was worth paying extra for the Rollerblade brand. ... show more

  • They’re worth it - get them and start having fun while exercising!
Size: 8 Color: BLACK/LIGHT BLUE
For the price point, these are a great intro into the world of rollerblading. I’ve been rollerblading for a month and was hoping my snow skiing would transfer over and am pleased I went with the Rollerblade brand. I’ve already got my eye on an upgrade Rollerblade (over $300) in the future should I stick with the hobby. I rollerblade with my GSD and we both really enjoy the activity! From other reviews, I’ll get years of enjoyment out of these and am looking forward to improving every day. Had my first wipe out recently, and though they have some scuffs from the impact, they protected my ankles very well and the scuffs were minimal considering the impact. Obviously I also had my Rollerblade knee pads and elbow pads and suffered no injuries! I am using another brand wrist guard because the wrist guards felt like I’d slip more if I fell with them because of the metal guard it has instead of plastic. However,, as I progress I think I’ll switch to that wrist guard since the quality is better. I think that’d just me being scared of slipping too much with the metal piece. They’re not heavy and fit great. My foot is wide and I think these are very comfortable. Don’t hesitate - get them and start roller blading!! ... show more

  • Highly recommend
Size: 7 Color: Black Light Blue
I am 38 years old, and I zoom on these like im a teenager again. They fit great and are extremely comfortable. My husband bought the same ones in black one size bigger, but due to previous injuries may not be able to use them as much as I will due to extreme pain

  • Good buy!
Size: 8 Color: BLACK/LIGHT BLUE
I had Bladerunners by Rollerblade and accidentally left them in the street and drove off without them! In all fairness, I'd never done any maintenance on them in 8 years and it was probably time for a new pair anyway. The sizing is tricky since there are no half sizes and the sizing chart is 'currently unavailable'. I'm a true 8.5 US / 6 UK / 39 European shoe size. I ordered a size 9 at first which equates to a 40.5 EU, so actually a size and half up from the US 8. So I ordered the US 8, which was marked on the box as a UK 6 / EU 39. Not really how it usually works, plus you only find that out AFTER you order them. Ok. But they fit. So if you're a US 8.5, I recommend ordering the size 8. I also have a bit of a cankle situation going on but I was used to how they fit from my old Bladerunners. I had to really yank on the laces, which by the way are way shorter than on the old models and will not fit around your ankle and back again, to get a more secure footing. I had to adjust the right foot, after staring to blade; I was sliding around a bit but after I pulled the laces tighter and adjusted the ankle clip it was fine. These run much smoother than my old blades, great for my modest use of just doing a low-impact cardio workout. Confident blader, no trick is my level. Worth mentioning might be that I did get a blister on my right foot but then again they were brand-new and as an ex-dancer I have hideous bunions which is exactly where I got the blister. I know from my old blades that that will subside after a while. Overall I'm really happy with my purchase, especially that they're essentially the same blades as my old ones, just a bit better and prettier. I might get longer laces though. I like to tie them together and sling them over my shoulder to lug them around, not possible with these short laces. ... show more
