I got these for my wife since she has never owned a pair of cowboy boots, and they turned out to be a great introduction to the style. The color she selected (brown) looks just like the listing, with a slightly distressed finish and clean stitching that gives them a classic western look without being too over the top. They pair really well with dresses and skirts, but also work just as nicely with jeans or shorts, so they are easy to style for different outfits. One thing she really likes is how easy they are to put on and take off. The side zipper makes a noticeable difference compared to traditional pull-on boots, especially if you are not used to that style. There are also pull tabs at the top that help guide them on. These are not leather, but the material still looks good and holds its shape well. It also keeps them lighter than traditional leather boots, which makes them easier to wear for longer periods. My wife says they felt comfortable right out of the box. The heel height is manageable and stable, making them easy to walk in without feeling awkward or too tall. Cowgirl boots are always cute and this mid calf ladies western boots with half side zipper is no exception. Having them in white, is yet another level of super cuteness, even cuter than brown or black. The half side zipper keeps the boots looking sleeker while still enable loosening of the ankle portion of the boots in case there is fitting issue with the boots being too tight, unzipping could help with easing into the boots. Fortunately these boots are true to size and being able to fit into the boots without unzipping is just more convenient. These cowgirl boots are packaged in a white cardboard boot box with the mid calf boots folded at the halfway point. Luckily these boot material is supple and crease resistant. Nothing obvious is observable so perhaps they can be stored this way, in the mesh bag they came with. The box just has a simple one color branding print. Inside the boots are, as mentioned already, folded in half and stored in their individual mesh bags. There is paper dividing the boots, separating then from each other. And tissue paper are stuffed into the foot section of each boot to keep them in shape. These boots are definitely made for walking as the heels are chunky and low, and the front thick adding more leveling height between front and back.
