This review is for the following item: Rollator Walkers for Seniors with Seat, 350 LB Foldable Rolling Walker, 8" Big Wheels for All Terrain, Handles and Ergonomic Seat Height Adjustable This is a very nice sturdy walker. I would say it is the basic model of a rollator. It does not have all the bells and whistles as a more pricier model, but then you need to ask yourself if you need a cane holder, water bottle holder or curb climbers. If you do need those, then this rollator is not for you. You will need to do full assembly on this walker and it is not that difficult. I do wish there would have been numbers on the wheels and handles so it would have been easier to make sure all were adjusted to the same height. But as long as you count the holes, you shouldn't have any problems. You can adjust the seat height of this walker by either raising or lowering the wheels. The wheels and handlebars are attached using the plastic star bolts and washers. It is an easy process. The backrest slides right on, and then you will need to use the screwdriver (included) and the tiny black screws to hold the backrest in place. If you don't do that, the backrest will lift off and possibly cause a safety issue. I found this walker to roll very easily over all surfaces. I took it out in the yard, the sidewalk, and in the house on carpeting, tile and wooden floors. I had no problems at all. The brakes needed no adjustment, they worked perfectly. The brakes are easy to use, pull up to slow and stop. Push the brake handles down to lock the brakes. When locked, you can sit without the walker rolling away from you. When you are ready to resume your walk, pull up on the brake handles and the brakes unlock. You are ready to go again. The storage bag under the seat is nice in size. It will easily hold your shopping, or purse, books, or whatever it is that you need to take with you. The seat is comfortable, it is not perfectly flat. It conforms to your bottom making seating more comfortable. The seat is wide. The walker is rated for a person up to 350 pounds. When you are done and want to store the walker, simply lift the seat up, and then pull up on the cord that is over the storage bag. This will fold the walker in half. There is a strip of velcro that you can wrap around the frame that will help to keep the walker folded. Now you can easily put the walker in your vehicle or store it in a closet. When standing the walker in the folded position, make sure the brakes are locked. That way the walker wheels won't roll and it will stand nicely in place. No where in the ad is it indicated that you must assemble this walker yourself! What a pain - and I mean that in every sense of the word. If you are the person that needs a walker, and you are the person that must assemble the walker, this may not be a good choice for you. It was difficult for me to assemble and I am now in a lot of pain. I have a heavy duty walker with 12" wheels that I keep outside on the patio for walking on a paved trail outside my back yard. I wanted another walker that I could keep in my trunk and use at museums etc. This is actually not a very good choice for me. Be aware of how heavy and cumbersome this walker is. It is right at my weight limit of what I am safely able to lift and it is pretty hard for me to get this in and out of my trunk. Somehow I thought this would be a little lighter like my Dad's walker he used in his last years. His I was able to lift a lot better. This weighs about 22 lbs. Ok, with all of that said, here is what I think of the walker in general. This is very heavy duty and strongly made. It should last most people for many years. I find the seat to be quite comfortable and the backrest is decent - it hits at the low back and is wide enough to offer some low support, it's like a sling. The seat flips up to reveal a canvas bin for storing things that need to be carried along, there's plenty of space for a jacket, water bottle, camera/binoculars. The brakes are ok. They work well enough. To lock it you must press down hard on the lever which does cause me pain, hoping that that gets a bit easier as time goes on. The steering is decent, the front wheels turn fairly well, the back wheels are always stable and don't turn. The wheel height is adjustable so that you can choose how high/low you want the seat to be. I did have to readjust once I got the whole thing assembled. The handle bar height is also adjustable so that you can choose what feels comfortable. I do appreciate that the handle bars protrude back enough that I can stand fully upright when pushing the walker since it is imperative that I stand very straight. FYI, there is an assembly video I just noticed on this listing. That probably would have been beneficial if I had realized it was there before I assembled. I followed the booklet that came with the walker and it wasn't the most clear set of instructions. The video shows some clips to hold the brake cable but mine didn't come with those. My brake cables are sticking out so I kind of tucked them behind the knobs. They do give you an extra of each type of screw. This was good because I had a faulty screw on one each of the larger screw types. I hope my insights and information on this walker help you decide if it's the right one for you.
