While a little pricey, this kit is great. The materials are high quality and the instructions are clear and detailed. Its a great kit for those who are new to making these kits. Everything assembles easily, there's only one light, so no frustrating tangle of wires! I have made many many of these little rooms/houses. This company not only had a quality in product, but most importantly their instructions were great. The booklet was large enough you could actually read it and they had a fantastic cheat sheet. This cheat sheet was actual sizes of each piece so you could match it up to make sure you had the correct piece. This made the assembly of this piece very easy. As a newbie to DIY dollhouses, I will say the instructions to this are extremely confusing. I was flying on the first steps but then it became increasingly more confusing as I got more into the little intricacies of the parts. I am used to putting things together myself using instructions, but usually the parts are labeled clear as day. the bags with all the pieces are not labeled and neither are the pieces themselves, however, they’re labeled on the instructions which makes no sense. This leaves you to do a little “where’s waldo” trying to find the exact piece based off a black and white picture. And there’s so many pieces, some looking the same as others. I ended up having to reference a youtube video of someone else making this, but it still wasn’t as in depth as needed and i spent a lot of time pausing and rewinding. Maybe this is user error and I just am too new at this to know what i’m doing? Not sure but I wanted to be honest if anyone else is new to this. I will continue to work on this, but just a bit disappointed on the lack of labeling for the pieces and instructions. I can't speak on the lighting, because I do my own lighting with fairy lights for all of my kits. Just so much nicer to look at & easier to do.
