Very easy to assemble. It took me maybe 30 minutes. Very sturdy. The charging port can be placed anywhere on the frame which is very convenient. The lights are awesome. My 15 yr old wanted something sleek and modern and she got a bonus with the lights. It's light, sleek, and took like 45 min to build and set up. Lights work great! Had to go buy extra velcro pieces at Walmart for like $5.00 to keep lights up since I didn't want to peel to use adhesive. But it did the trick and have a happy teenager! This was an amazing bed frame! I purchased these for both my sons and they absolution love them. It was super easy to set up with very clear instruction. I was able to set it up all by myself in about 30 min. The frame and the led lights are great quality. The lights are perfectly measured to fit the frame. The only thing I did not like was these adhesive strips that are there on the supports to keep the mattress from moving are not ideal. They make your sheets very sticky and when I lifted the mattress they came off. So I just ended up taking them off completely. So you would need to invest in something better to keep the mattress in place. Also each bed comes with their own remote to control the lights and if you have both bed in the same room it will control both lights at the same time so just be aware of that. There is also an app to control the lights but i haven't tested that out just yet. But all in all this has been the best purchase I've made 😀 ... show more

Impressively easy to set up - I had the frame together in less than 15 minutes. Minimal tools and hardware required - the slats pop right in. It took longer to place the rope lights than to set up the frame. The 18 inch is much taller than I had imagined - I didn't keep into account the height of the mattress itself. First off, let me just say that the frame is sturdy. I love it, I just recently got around to installing the lights a few months later, keep in mind that I also bought a tv stand also made by this company that comes with the same remote and lights. I’m not sure if one is interfering with the other, but the lights on my bed are not responding to the remote where my tv stand does. I was hoping they would change to the same color together and maybe the signals are just messed up. I contacted the seller just now and are waiting for a response on a how to on fixing or recalibrating the remote if possible. I’m satisfied with both of my purchases, I just don’t want to tear this LED strip out to install a new set if I don’t have to. Please not that the assembly of this frame is a slight pain and that the screw holes don’t align with the frame bars, there was maybe one that I couldn’t get in, but it was still pretty easy. It isn't a very sturdy bed frame. The assembly isn't difficult but the LED lights that go on the frame came broken thus my daughter doesn't have the use of them...very disappointing for her. She also says it isn't gery comfortable to sleep on. Not worth the money I spent
