I bought this for my teenage son. My husband was able to put it together in a couple hours and the finished product is durable and my son loves it. There was a little bit of damage to the Headboard (I'm sure it occurred during shipping) and while the company was unable to replace those pieces they did offer a partial refund to compensate. It was shipped and delivered before the day it was expected to arrive. Shocked that the box was so small and light. But, all the parts were inside the box along with instructions. Very easy to assemble, it took my husband 1 hour to assemble. The lights worked which was a win. We got the Full size and it was perfect for our 4yr old son. He was so excited to get a big boy bed. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy this bed was to assemble! I put it together by myself in about 1 hour and my oldest son asked how much it cost, assuming it was very expensive based on how it looks. The headboard is surprisingly sturdy material and the metal does not squeak at all. The slats are close together, so the mattress as well supported without a box spring. I was worried about the mattress slipping off of the sides, but the headboard and footboard do a great job of keeping them in place. I was also skeptical that the entire bed frame could be included in such a small box, but everything was packed with precision and even the spare parts packet was labeled. My teenage son loves this bed. It’s sturdy, and easy to put together. The LED lights are just a light strip which some reviewers seemed upset about, but you can’t see the strip unless you’re trying to find it.
