I would say it's a medium firmness. It's a great size and thickness. It didn't say anything about cooling but I don't find myself getting hot. I really like there aren't springs. Overall it's a very good mattress.

Bought the 10in. Puffed up quickly. No smell. Slept okay but it's cool at night in October here and I had to sleep with the AC on and kick the covers off. It is too hot and radiates body heat right back! Good price though so I might get a cooling mattress cover. I wish companies were honest.
