I received these AULikY Hair Cutting Scissors in April 2025. The scissors I received matched the Amazon product page pictures and description. The scissors comes with a plastic pouch to put them in, what appears to be a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a plastic comb. I didn't notice any manufacturing defects with the items I received. The comb is nothing special and is a low end one. There is an adjustment knob that you can use to adjust how much pressure the 2 blades of the scissors press against each other. You can also use this same knob to unscrew and separate both parts of the scissors which may be useful if you want to sharpen them. If you keep your expectations aligned with the price point these scissors are at then I think they are a good value. I think they are fine for a beginner or to use as a backup for better scissors.

These scissors from AULikY feel very nice to use. The cutting motion is smooth. The blades seem sharp and cut my hair well. They also have an adjustment knob for changing the pressure / tension of the scissors. This size of the scissors is nice as someone who will just trim my own hair or my husbands hair occasionally. I don’t know how they would compare to professional barber scissors. They are a bit larger than most economy hair scissors, to compare. I think these are a great value. The price at the time of this review is $3.99. At $10 Imwould still rate them a 5 Star product. The comb is low quality. The long tail comb is jagged / rough along the edges. Trying to use the pointed end to part my hair, it caught several hairs and pulled. I considered the comb a free gift with purchase and did not remove any stars for it. If the comb is a component of the set someone is needing, I would look elsewhere. I would suggest to the seller to leave the comb out of the set to increase the overall impression of quality.

These shears are not great quality so I rated them 4 stars. The metal used is very rough. They cut decent but I would like a sharper cut. I'm not sure these would sharpen well so probably use until dull them scrap them. Not really sure what metal they used but I'm used to high quality and these are not that. They cut but they aren't lifelong shears you get sharpened. They come in a plastic slide in case which mine stabbed through. And the sectioning comb that comes with it is not a haircutting comb nor is it ever a comb we use in the haircutting proces. A sectioning comb is used to section hair so it's really not if use here unless you don't have a cutting comb. And section prior to cutting hair. Do not attempt to use this to cut your hair is going to be so difficult. Get a haircutting comb.

I purchased these shears to tidy up some split ends and have a pair on hand to trim my baby's hair and husband's hair. It's a great item to have around the house for when it's needed. The shears themselves are sharp and have great fluid movement. They're a good weight and feel balanced in your hand. The included comb is a great touch and handy to have, as is the cleaning cloth. I do wish they came with a higher quality sheath for the shears, as the included one is a very flimsy plastic, but that's not a deal breaker.

For the price, you cannot beat these scissors. I need a new pair and did not want to spend a fortune on new ones. These are the perfect length. I want to call them salon professional length scissors. They are sharp, cut my hair evenly and got all the haircut the first time and the scissors have comfort grips in the finger holes. Cannot go wrong with these. They did come with a comb, but it was to scratchy on my scalp.

So, I'm guilty for thinking these would be garbage scissors for just under 4 dollars; I was wrong. They actually work really well and I trimmed up my pup a little bit. The cutting was smooth and straight. I know you can spend more than 100 dollars on good hair cutting scissors so these probably have their limitations, but I am very pleased for quick cuts and grooming needs. Better than expected, so 5 stars. What my rating means: 5 Stars: Very Satisfied * The product is excellent and exceeds expectations. * It has no significant issues. * I would highly recommend it to others.

I have a few pairs of professional grade scissors and these are by far the most disappointing. While they do have a slight amount of cushioning/grip inside the handle for your fingers and they do have long blades, I could not get a clean, straight line on either damp or dry hair. I got so frustrated that half way through a cut, I pulled out my old scissors and couldn’t believe how much easier it was to use them (and they were much smaller and had no grip or padding!) I ended up having to redo all the sections I had cut with these new scissors.

I have small hands (but not slender fingers), and these scissors are very comfortable in my hand! While I prefer a sharp tip, I can see how the blunt tip prevents poking the client. My favorite feature is the band of silicone on the inside of the finger holes, which makes for a more comfortable hold.
