I’ve tried a lot of phone cases over the years, but Rokform stands out as one of the most durable and versatile. The build quality is excellent—sturdy without feeling overly bulky. I really like the magnetic mounting system, which makes it super convenient to snap the phone onto my motorcycle, in the car, or even onto the fridge while cooking. The extra grip and rugged design give me peace of mind knowing my phone is protected if it slips out of my hand or takes a hit. What I also appreciate is how customizable it is—the twist lock mounts and accessories make it easy to adapt for different situations, whether I’m out riding, camping, or just using it day to day. I’ve been using this company’s cases and products since my i-Phone X. I was hooked. The case magnet is super strong. More than once, my wife has had hers sticking to the side of a filing cabinet as she walked by. They also have a positive twist lock system, something that I originally drew me to them for use on a motorcycle mount. They also have mag-loc option so you can use those QI chargers. With this case and screen protector, I’ve managed to keep my iPhone 13 max going strong with several drops on concrete. I have had to replace the screen protector several times, but those were hard impacts. This particular review is for the I-phone 15 case, specifically my wife and kids phones (they each got one). Wife has had zero phone damage, but has had difficulty using other aftermarket charging stands. My kids has seen lots of impacts and temper tantrums. I’ve had to swap out screen protectors 3 times since installed, but never had to have the phone repaired. Only after this last incident where the screen protector was removed and not re-installed did the screen see damage. The case itself remained intact and the phone still works. The case is a one piece design. It adds thickness to the phone. Installation, just slips on like most modern cases, although to me it seems stiffer then decorative cases. The stiffness takes some extra effort for removal. No kickstand, but who needs that when the magnets in the case lets you stick it to the side of anything metal! Keep in mind, the rugged added thickness makes most aftermarket phone holders unusable. These cases have saved me from paying the deductible for warranty repairs for those inevitable drops and falls. Rok Form black rugged case for the 14 Pro Max. When placing my order, I had 3 major concerns regarding charging, camera lens protection, and iPhone screen breakage protection. All three of these issues I have laid to rest since I received my new case. 1). I use the non-magnetic plug that was factory installed when received. Optional magnetic plug, included in the box, I do not use because the embedded case magnets are more than strong enough to securely hold my phone to metal surfaces such as tool boxes, refrigerator sides, and the small upright custom metal plate I installed near the cup holders in my 4Runner. Wireless MagSafe charging is not used if the optional magnetic plug is installed. The rear of the case is all flat and lies just enough above the camera area so when phone is placed on a flat surface no camera contact is made. Furthermore, the camera lenses, flash, and LiDAR scanner come already protected by the iPhone 14 Pro design using a single molded, extremely resilient to scratching, sapphire crystal glass cover installed by Apple during the 14 Pro Max manufacturing process. 2). MagSafe charging has worked first time and every time with this case installed. I'm using the Belkin Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 charging PAD from Amazon. 3). This cover has an ample amount of lip protruding up and around the front to give adequate screen protection from accidental dropping. The lip also makes it super easy to remove phone from my front jean pocket using thumb and forefinger. I have never used screen protectors and none are included. Anyhow, this case is just perfect for me in every way. The grip feels very secure when using/handling my phone. Be mindful, this case does add some bulk AND a noticeable increase in weight which I expected considering it is a rugged case with very strong magnets. I have not found this cover hard to remove at all. While holding iPhone 14 Pro Max with both hands I simply push up, NOT AT THE CORNER, but near the top right corner with my left thump and then at the same time push outward near the upper corner on the right side with my right thumb; then slide both thumbs toward the corner & simply push this corner of the cover off the iPhone. Very Easy! Please note: I have ONLY used the specific charger model as described above. Other chargers/models including Belkin may or may not work. Hope this is a help! ... show more
