This model is a stereo amplifier while the RPM45BT is a parallel mono amplifier. We also upgraded the power so it will be perfect for speakers with more power. The RPM48S has Bluetooth so you can stream your music wirelessly. We use a very high quality Bluetooth chip that is reliable for professional applications. This powered mixer is rugged and tough! It is enclosed in a high quality wooden enclosure which can take a real beating! The RPM48S has 4 channels making it versatile enough for most parties and gigs. Great sound quality. The bluetooth connection works great too. Light to carry, good power output for monitors or a small gig set up. I used to lug around a Peavey XR 684, this is much better for small gigs.

The outer box indicated this outfit would peak out at 2000 watts of power. That would be a stretch. I connected it to a pair of Bose 301 speakers. I maxed out the volume on the guitar, maxed the channel volume and main volume and the volume was not as loud as the speakers had played music in the past. It was not uncomfortable by any means less than 2 feet away. I have no way of measuring the output power, but my home stereo is louder at 150 watts per channel than this amp put out maxed out. Connected two wireless microphones and they didn't do any better. The rest of it has not been tested. ... show more

The package was delivered a couple days early on UPS and in good condition. So far the system is working amazingly. I will mainly use this with my dj equipment when I have smaller gigs and venues. I had difficulty first hooking up my dj mixer with the Amp using rca cables in the line input...I was ready to return the whole system. But I decided to use the Bluetooth connection to the Amp with my MacBook and voila it worked! So my dj equipment is connected to my MacBook and it's now connected via BT with the amp... and the sound has not been diminished. Wish me luck in my next gig and I'm hoping the sound will be enough with my heavy huge subwoofer to carry around. ... show more

I was hesitant to buy this Amp, after reading the negative and positive reviews I thought I'll take a chance. WOW, what a solid amp. I do Karaoke at a Church and a Senior Center. The Tonal quality of this Amp is outstanding for the price. I can rock a fair size room as I am driving a pair of Professional Japanese TAO speakers. Please use the correct cables for connections to bypass the distortion and HUM issues talked about. I would recommend this amp to my friends. ... show more

Upgraded my powered speakers to this amp and some new speakers. Great little amp for my needs. I DJ an event once or twice a year and this does a nice job. Bluetooth hookup is nice!
