I am donating stage monitor speakers for a music school in the Philippines through Philippine Children's Charity. I needed a powered (active) monitor speaker that was 220 V. Ordering from Europe where 220 V is common was not an option because Roland, Yamaha, Fender, etc. do not allow importation from European Union retail stores to private individuals in the U.S. I was left with these vs. Behringer. The Behringer speakers were sold out, so I took these. Great price. Sound was very good. I tested them out with a Roland synthesizer and the speakers had no problem. Some low level noise that I do not think would be an issue in a live venue at all. Very good value. Has MIC XLR and 1/4 input and XLR line input. Has bass and treble EQ which worked well. Great as a PA system for public speaking or stage monitor system. Would work for small to medium venues and main speakers as well although you might have a little noise - but I think the noise is minimal and would not be noticed by anyone except a recording engineer and producer like me :) ... show more

These two Rpg12 from Rockville are true workhorses.. I have put them through a lot if gigs and smaller club dates and they crank it out every time without a hitch. They can get really loud and with no noise level or distortion. I have a all electronic trigger drum set and these speakers make it sound so clear and the highs are crisp and the lows will make your chest hairs bounce. ... show more

This speaker is exactly what I was looking for and in a great price range. This thing is loud and sound is much better than I expected. It lacks a little in bass but overall performance is pretty darn good. Its perfect for small to midsize parties and/or venues.

Pretty happy with these. Had to open each one up and tighten the horn on both because they were vibrating around pretty good, guess the guy who does that at the factory was sick that day. Deep bass, pretty good high and mid range sound. For the price I think it's excellent value. I'm gonna crack them open again and add some insulation because at higher volumes the cabinets get a bit noisey on the backside. ... show more

This speaker is loud. I purchased this for my wedding and was used for a medium size venue. It worked flawlessly. For the price, it was worth every single dollar. One thing worth noting, a mixer is needed to get maximum wattage out of it.
