Includes a CO2 cylinder shipped conveniently in a storage pocket inside the belt pack. Once the provided CO2 cylinder is installed into the manual inflation mechanism you're good to go. With a quick jerk of the Jerk to Inflate cord the vest will inflate in seconds.

Quality piece! GREAT deal- $20 less than others, but side-by-side you would think THIS ONE was the higher cost. C02 cartridge was included in the handy inside pocket, where you can keep a spare cartridge if needed. Hi-Vis is bright for safety. Good looking belt, and USCG approved. Very light, but strong. 2 D-Rings to hang stuff off of. Comprehensive Owner's Manual with lots of good info. The included floating key ring (for free) is a nice bonus :) These use a threaded 16g c02 cartridge, btw.

These belts do have USCG approval. Surprisingly good quality for the price. Compact and easily stored. We keep these in our dinghy bag and put them on when traveling. Much easier to handle than large life jackets.

LOOKS GOOD AND FUNCTIONS AS INTENDED. I knocked off a star for not having the coast guard rating printed on the belt itself. Rather it is printed on the preserver on the inside. This is a little inconvenient when the Sheriff is sweating you. This product is also not returnable.

I ordered this as a bit of extra insurance for my frequent near shore and bay sailboat races. It's not intended to help you float around the ocean in a storm, but if you need an emergency floatation device for near shore activities this will work. I also like how it stays out of your way while hoisting sails and grinding winches. I haven't needed it yet, but I'm glad it's around my waist if I ever do need it.

This Bluestorm belt PFD was exactly what I was looking for to use while paddle boarding. NOTE: YES the CO2 cartridge is included. And NO, this does not weigh 3lbs as another reviewer claimed. I weighed mine and it is a total of 14oz ready to go. The included CO2 cartridge is tucked away in a black pocket designed to hold a spare cartridge located inside the main pouch. The belt is wide at 2" which helps make it more comfortable than a more narrow belt which is more likely to dig if too tight. The velcro keeping the main pouch closed it completely tucked away and will not catch your wet suit or rash guard. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.
