This is my new favorite Bluetooth speaker! It really does sound bigger than it is. It's clear, full, and fairly loud. It's smaller than I thought it would be, and lighter. Being fairly light weight sent up a red flag with me. That usually means that the speakers are cheap, but after listening to it for the last couple of days, I'm thoroughly impressed. I've compared it to my favorite speakers in the same size range, and it tops them all! The micro sd card works great, microphone works well during phone calls, and it's waterproof. Great set of features, that all work well. But I did have one hiccup. The first time that I made a phone call, the microphone didn't work at all. So I called Amazon about returning it, and they went through a troubleshooting session with me. Unknown to me, if you hold the powed button for about 10 seconds, it resets the unit, and that fixed the problem. It knocked my confidence in this product down a notch, but it hasn't happened again so.....we'll see. I'll give it some more time, and if it continues to perform well, I'll buy a second one, and try out the stereo pairing. My only con for this speaker is the price. I bought mine for about $34, and I see that it's already gone up a couple of bucks in the last two days. For around $15, you can buy a Neego/Soundplus/AYL/Gembonics single driver, waterproof speaker, with similar features, and almost, but not quite as good sound quality. If the price doesn't matter so much as sound quality, and great looks, then the Rockville is the speaker for you. As for now, I'm definitely enjoying it.     • Good sound, compact design work well and easy to pair !
I’m repeat customer of these. I have 2 e-bikes and both have a pair of these mounted to a handle bar extender. Look pretty stylish, have nice sound over all (don’t expect huge deep base as these are small speakers) but the sound quality esp considering the cost is very good. I ride for hours and many miles listening to these playing my Tunes from my iPhone. These are blue tooth and once paired and connected they stay connected. As I write this it makes me realize in the 3000+ miles I’ve put in my e-bikes the speakers NEVER failed to continue to play nor did they get staticky or have anything else interfere. I even rode to and around Manhattan several times and they still played clearly! ... show more

    • Sent dud of a item. Faulty
My speaker has a red light when charging. It never goes away. In the manual and directions it says it is supposed to be green. So i was sent a faulty item. I contacted rockville and the lady who answered said yes that is a problem. You have to speak to our tech support which is open from 9 to 3 eastern time. I explained to her that I work during those hours and longer then those hours. Must be nice 6 hour days during the time everyone else works. So they cant be to busy with calls. Ether way I have no way to get the call back she mentioned during those hours. Waste of time and money. She said they are the only people I can speak to. Unreal ... show more

Great sound and volume for its size. Excellent ergonomic controls! But the Wi-fi strength is super weak. At <10’ it cuts out if an object like a person walking by obstructs line of site. Was considering buying other Rockville products. Won’t be doing that based on the poor wi-fi of this unit. *****UPDATED***** Received replacement unit and it is awesome! Great sound and Bluetooth works as designed. Customer service is USA based and very responsive. Would definitely buy Rockville again. ... show more

    • Well made and sounds great
I've had this for a couple years now. I love it. Not super loud but does a great job for the size. So far it seems to hold a charge pretty well before it starts to weaken. You'll notice it not be as loud as the battery starts to diminish. This usually takes a while to get to this point.

Sounds Great with one, but with 2 well the 2 speakers needs to be right next to each other. I called the company explained the situation and the said to email them a video which I did, and they would send me new ones out. Now they emailed me asking me to do a factory reset which they should of told me from the first time. BTW i did the factory reset and it's still not working and now I'm waiting for another response back from them. Maybe it's my fault because I bought the as like new.. but the box seemed like the only thing that was bad. Everything looked brand new from inside the box. I'll update when I get more information.. Update: Rockville sent me two brand new speakers. They sound Great. Would Def buy this brand again.. Powerful for a smaller speaker.. ... show more

Watch the video and on a single speaker it shows quite a bit of sound when in reality not near what they show them the video so was a little disappointing if it’s something you want sitting right in front of you it’s not bad but if it’s something and you have a lot of background noise, not as good as they describe maybe if you bought the two that pair together but a single one, volume not near what they show in the video ... show more
