I purchased 2 of these for 149 dollars each and i'm very happy with them.These speakers bump hard,loud and clear using the Rockville RPA16 Amp i have hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V685 receiver. At first i had them connected directly to my receiver using a Speakon to Banana plug cable and it was alright,no complaints,but to make these truly come alive i got myself an amp.Once these have proper power going into them they rock the place. The woofers put out thumping bass,the tweeters and horn get insanely loud but still maintain clarity even when you crank things up. Build quality,very good.Well made,solid.No dents or damage of any kind and everything works as it should. I strongly recommend these speakers,they're excellent. ... show more

This thing is amazing, I normally don't write reviews at all but this thing cut through the mix with ease and the bluetooth/sd/usb works awesome too. I normally use it as a stereo when im not using it with a band or to record, trust me you want this if you need a PA, its very very loud

Big mistake. This speaker sounds TERRBLE. Before I bought it I asked if it can be used for my karaoke system and was told it will be fine. Bought a pair....they came and looked every bit made in china with several little dings to the front guard pieces....That's fine I don't expect supper nice looking speakers but only care how they sound. OMG, they sound terrible.... my 14 years old Dtech sounds a lot better. There is no bass, the mids is muddy and the highs is screechy with cracking noise. It could be I got a defective pair or something isn't good but I really am regretting buying them. I contacted the seller but have not gotten much response to my inquiry. it's weird, as soon as I contacted the seller about the issue, the product review and seller review buttons for this speaker disappear from the one in my orders list. I should have listen to those negative reviews, they told you the truth about this speaker. My mistake that I ignore that deciding to give this cheap speaker a chance and boy I got bit. I now end up with 2 speakers that I can't use. Amazon isn't gonna do anything to help me either. Seller made you pay $57.49 for the return label even if it is their fault for selling you junk. Once received the speakers they took another 10% of the speaker's original price for restocking fees. This seller is robbing Amazon customers big time. They keep selling junk and force Amazon customers' to keep the junks by creating unfair policy and charge customers hefty to deter the customer from returning. NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Amazon should ban this kind of sellers ... show more

I bought these speakers almost a year ago, putting 3,000 watts to a pair of them and they definitely are LOUD ... BUT theres a few drawbacks to them too. For one, the subwoofers really dont like 20hz and below, but not too many subs do.The biggest problem with these speakers is the speaker cabinet themselves, NOT the subs. Because the sub woofers were not sealed separately from the horns and tweeters, at higher volumes the horns and tweeters vibrate causing a distortion sound, as well as the handles on the box vibrate at higher volumes. Dont get me wrong, I do love these speakers but if you plan on pushing these speakers, just be aware of the above mentioned issues is all. I've thrown block parties with these speakers, and you could clearly hear the words mids and highs 3 blocks away, but tune down the bass so you dont get the distortion ... show more

Loud asf. I bought 2 for my home theater. One of my speaker was damage on arrival at the bottom. A little dent. Didn't wanna deal with the return policy so I didn't fuss. But over all great sound.
