i mean you get what u pay for it’s a decent wrap, would say more on the cheap side super skinny and you can’t heat it up to much or it will mess up or tear really easy ,if ur not a pro backyard mechanic or own a wrap shop ur going to get bad lines somewhere or creases but overall made it work looks better ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This carbon fiber pattern is gorgeous. My very first wrap, and I attempted wrapping my hood, alone. I did a ‘dry’ install, and learned that spraying the hood and underside of wrap with a solution ( like window tint) would have given me better results and added some ease in the installation. If I had a helper, prepped hood further, and used a solution to apply wrap, this project would have been brilliant! I’m going to re-order the same 5x6 foot length and go at it again! This time armed with what I’ve learned from this first attempt. I’ve yet to see any other wraps to compare this to, very impressed with this colour pattern, packaging and price in comparison to others. This is a great price for a great looking wrap. I’m debating on going with a lighter, almost silver coloured carbon fibre if they offer it. Loads of people thought it was a carbon hood until they spotted my creases up close . . I actually ripped the wrap in a spot and had to patch the 2 ft. X 2 ft. area with excess wrap and it damn near looks seamless! Advice: Clean underside of hood, clay bay areas to be wrapped first, use solution to ‘wet apply where applicable and use a heat gun with a helper to stretch the corners and edges. Get a felt tip- wrap squeegee! Don’t panic when it feels you’ve failed lol Good luck! ... show more

20ft for $90 is pretty nice so I would consider buying it again if I was looking for a dark gray carbon fiber. Finish looks very nice and is a fraction of the cost of other vinyls. Very tacky but wasn't too difficult. Vinyl has only been on for 2 weeks and I might take it off because it is too gray on a black corvette ... show more

It's a good looking product but it lifts in an area that's barely raised. I used a heat gun and it went back to normal. So I left it in the 110 Texas heat for a few days and tried flattening it out again. That time it looked perfect like it was vacuum sealed! But then a few hrs later it was puffy again. Then last week when it rained the carbon fiber looked like it had come delaminated. I rubbed it but nothing changed. I figured I was going to peel it off later, but after the rain everything looked fine. I'd definitely buy it again but I guess I need more practice working it into lower areas. ... show more

The protective cap is not able to stretch. The material is thick which makes for an intermediate install level but should offer good durability. As far as UV resistance, I'll have to wait for client reports. This film reacts to heat very well (stretching, reforming, not melting/blowing holes) Adhesion is similar to vvivid which is also not a beginner material. Air release is very good, but as with all vinyl, do not rely on it. This product dies not seem to have much heat/sun healing of micro scratches but lubricated squeegee application should protect against any imperfections from install. I would recommend dry install only. Overall, if you're experienced this will be a piece of cake. I do not recommend this product for beginners. Overall rating 7/10 and that is just because it is not beginner friendly on larger panels. ... show more
