  • Excellent product, much much better than the cheap knockoffs
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I tried a few of the cheaper multi wire battery terminals available here with disappointing results and then bought this one. Setting aside the superior aesthetics of this one, the obvious difference is really that this one is properly machined to fit on a tapered lead post battery terminal. Machining quality is also superior for the set screws on this vs the similar cheap ones. The similar cheap ones here on Amazon weirdly include the shim that one would use to attach a tapered terminal onto a straight post, but they are not machined to fit over a tapered terminal so no matter how hard you tighten them, they will pop off with almost no vibration or pulling. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty, Clamps Securely, Compatible with Multiple Gauge Wires
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
After looking at many connectors I chose this one and couldn't be happier! - Accepts two 4 AWG wires. Many will accept a 1/0 and a 4 AWG, or a 4 AWS and a 8 AWG. (will also accept one or two 1/0 guage, but I didn't use them) - The collars to adapt from 1/0 guage and 4 guage are great! - Accepts two 8 AWG wires (though I only use one for a 10 AWG wire) - Clamps very securely to the battery terminal - The screws make a very secure connection to the terminal block. I was worried about a solderless connection, but not after using it. - Uses metric machine screws! This was important to me so that it was compatible with the small toolset I keep in my car for emergencies. Notes: - My car battery has the terminals recessed in the cap a bit. I had to switch the rear allen screw for a flange bolt so it could be tightened from above instead of behind. This is more convenient anyway. - Came in a lot of packaging for such a small thing. Seems wasteful. - Use dielectric grease when installing to ensure there is no corrosion down the road. ... show more

  • Easitly Accepts 1/0 AWG Wire
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I purchased the Rockford Fosgate RFK1D Dual Amp Kit to install my amp and powered subwoofer. Unfortunately, the negative crimped ring that came with the kit would not work in my situation. This battery terminal is identical to the power distribution blocks in the Rockford Fosgate RFK1D Dual Amp Kit. I knew the quality would be there and it would easily accept the 1/0 AWG negative/ground wire. This terminal accepts two 1/0 AWG wires or two 4 AWG wires or a combination of the two; in addition, it also accepts two 8 AWG wires. Overall this battery terminal was very easy to install fit my application. I have been very impressed with Rockford Fosgate products, as they are high-quality products that function well and as a bonus, it looks good. FYI: You will need a hex key to tighten down the connections and connect it to the battery post. ... show more

  • Test fit first!
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
Very Nice product. 5 starts for the positive side. 2 start for the negative. I purchased a new Optima gel cell. The positive side was a perfect fit. The negative side would not tighten. The terminal is not deep enough to go down the the largest part of the battery post. Luckily I purchased 2 of these. I used the negative insert from the positive one and doubled up the thickness. I was then able to get it to tighten down. Be sure to test fit this item. The optima gel cell is my only experience. ... show more

The thickness and sheer Ness is absolutely awesome

  • Happy overall, wish it were a bit cheaper.
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
I needed a positive battery terminal with a decent amount of outputs that didn't look hodgepodge. I also prefer having covers on them due to proximity to a strut tower bar. The plastic cover is robust but a bit finicky on fitment. Depending on some unseen magic it will either take the energy of 1000 suns to remove or it'll accidentally pop off with a light tap. Happy overall, bit too expensive for what it really is though. ... show more

  • very satisfied...
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
These helped me finish the "big 3" upgrade on my jeep. I ordered 2, one for each terminal. I know another reviewer mentioned set screw sizing for the 1/0 terminals. However out of the dozens of terminals I've used on many installs, this seems relative to all of them, not just rockford alone. Use the right size allen so you don't strip them out. I was able to crank down on the set screws plenty and am sure they will hold up during my offroad escapades and other vibrations. The finish is fine, but as usual, any weather prone connections/disimilar metals, use some di-electric grease to help keep corrosion down. These were functionally and aesthetically pleasing and I will buy them again on my next big install. ... show more

  • Built solid but poor design
Product Packaging: Standard Packaging
This is a fancy looking product but the design is inherently flawed. Connections are awkward and difficult to access. Why would you want to secure a 0/1 gauge cable with a tiny set screw? Clearly, this terminal is more for looks than long lasting performance. Would up not even using them. Complete waste of $70 for two useless hunks of metal. ... show more
