I converted my fat tire Mongoose Hitch to an ebike using a BBSHD kit. I wanted to add a cargo rack to increase the utility of the bike - it would be very helpful to be able to carry things! The Hitch frame does not include any stubs or mounting holes for accessories like fenders or racks, so I have been looking for a rack that mounts to the frame directly. This rack looked like it could do the job. It seemed doubtful from the information provided that it would fit my bike, but I got some indications via user comments and Q&A answers that it might work, so I took the risk and purchased it. It turned out that it fits my fat tire ebike perfectly, it is exactly what I was looking for. It appears to be a good design and well-made, it is sturdy and very adjustable. I was concerned about cable routing with the clamps, but the way the clamps are designed the cables pass easily through them, no interference at all. I did not put on the pannier extensions yet because I don't have panniers at this point, it will work for what I want without them for now and looks better too, IMHO. The description claims a capacity of over 160 lbs. I don't think I will ever do that, but I'm sure it will handle all my needs, I doubt I will ever carry more than 40 lbs. Also - very nice that all the tools necessary to install it were included, it was easy to install. The provided rubber inserts ensured a good grip for the clamps and protect the paint on the frame as well. Overall, I am very happy with this rack and think it was a great value!

I had to return it because I have a full suspension mountain bike. It looked great on the bike and was so happy with it till I realized that it will break if using full suspension. I tried to raise it up on the post under the seat but you cannot use the bars to on the side because the whole frame moves and I was afraid the rear tire would scrape it. If the bike was a hard tail it would have been great! When you install it fully its really a solid rack and it looks great on the bike. I was sick that I could not use it.

MT bike has no mounting holes. This solves the issue and is Very easy to install, and is very strong. Only down side is, I wish side tubes to secure the bags were longer as I was barely able to secure my bags.

I tried to install the bike rack this morning, but the company did not include the six bolts, washers, and nuts. Very difficult to provide a product review if parts are missing. I may return the bike rack or perhaps ROCKBROS will send me the items. Not great quality control.

Pros: quality construction; simple installation; strong; sturdy; adjustable Cons: None (I recommend using your own 10mm and 8mm or 5/16 wrenches. The included wrench is substandard)

The rack comes with a quick-release for the seat post, but also has clamp-on affixes to your seat stay, so you need a tool to remove it no matter what, though I suppose you can still quickly adjust your seat. However, the seat post clamp is over-sized, and I found that I was hitting it with my leg frequently on one side. Very annoying. Ended up ditching this in favor of an MTX compatible rack.
