I bought this to replace my $1200 wifi Dolphin that died after 2.5yrs. The parts to ‘maybe’ fix it cost more than this big boy right here. So far I’m very happy with it. It has 1-2-3hr settings. 1 button On/Off feature. You do have to start it and later come back to turn it off (the robot stops after the timer is up but will blink until you turn the power off on the control panel) but that’s fine. I want to pull it pull it out anyhow when it’s not in use. Word is that’s what kills the robots, staying in the pool all the time. The baskets (2) are a fine mesh so they pick up both fine and larger particles, leaves, etc. It climbs the walls, cleans stairs and the tile, I’m very happy with the work it does. First use and the unit got stuck attempting to climb the steps in the pool. Finally had to manually rescue it and move it after it sat in the same place attempting to drive in the same direction for ~20 minutes. Calling Rock & Rocker support yields a very poor quality VoIP connection to someone in China that supports multiple brands, requests all sorts of information from you, and then not only has an attitude with you, has trouble understanding what you are saying (I assure you this was a problem in both directions), and provides useful help like "Did you try moving it?" Because yes, I want to have to watch my automatic pool cleaner so I can wade into the pool to reposition it when it gets stuck. Just got it. This is a first use review. Cleaning is better than the Nautilus. This cleans my swim out ledges and safety ledges that the dolphin missed. This also does better at the waterline. When it’s done it floats to the surface. I rarely buy extended warranty. But my dolphin dies 7 months after warranty ended (cord covering cracked). The ext warranty was only $40 on this thing for 2 extra years on top of the 2 years included. Not bad at half the price ... show more

I received the cleaner and did a good job going up the walls, and going on an incline. After the 3 use, I noticed that the cleaner would not go on an incline from 8 ft to 3 ft. So after that, the next time I used the cleaner, it only cleaned 1/2 of the bottom of the pool. I called the company and they told me to return it since it was still under 30 days. The suction is good but the cord tangles every time. Try to straighten out and it gets tangled within a few minutes then it doesn't move. Have not had a good experience.
