Perfect fit for my original carb. Bolted right up to my 1966 Toyota Land Cruiser. I did have to adjust the float level but no big deal. Engine now runs great. Carb looks great, love the company name on the side in gold.

I bought this carburetor for my 1954 chevy 3100 half ton pickup. I waited 15 days for it to show up. Well worth the wait, installed my choke and throttle cable bracket. Put a little gas down the carburetor to prime it. She started right up, no adjustments needed. The cost was great, it looks just like the original. I would buy from this company again. It's only a 1 barrel carburetor so there is not much to adjust. When the engine got to operating temperature I turned the ideal screw up just a little. Shr runs great. ... show more

Put it in my 52 Chevy-Truck equipped with a 235 engine. My Truck is not a heavy drinker anymore and runs much better! All previous attempts to fix the original carburetor failed, so i highly recommend this product.

It took me two weeks to fit in the time to install this. So finally here’s my review. I was surprised and impressed with the fit, finish , function of this carburetor on my original 1954-55 Chevrolet truck with 235 cu.in. engine. It fired right up on the first try just like another buyer stated in their review. Very happy with this purchase. The only thing I found wrong for my application was the choke cable mounting bracket.( see photos ) The 1954 original bracket has 2 cable clamps for both CHOKE and Throttle cables. This unit came with single clamp bracket for CHOKE only. I had to acquire the needed bracket from EBay. This has no affect on the quality or operation of this fine looking carburetor. Did I say how impressive it was on starting up first try ! And it looks great …..see attached photos. Also I did turn up the idle RPM ever so slightly. The original oil bath air cleaner fits correctly also. I don’t know if it shows up in the pictures , but it almost looks like chrome in person. I was a little hesitant to try a non OEM carb for our old farm truck but original replacements are hard to find so I gave this one a try. It seems to be a direct fit and installation was simple. It did come with the gasket and I have no leaks or drips once installed. These old trucks are pretty simple and this 1 barrel carb seems to be working. I am pleasantly surprised so far and glad I took a chance on this carb. The original parts are getting hard to find so I am glad this replacement is a direct fit with minimal installation problems. This carburetor installs easily and quickly. It fires right up. There was just a little fine tuning, but that to me is to be expected right out of the box. Overall, it is a great part.
