As in other reviews, the cord tangles really bad when cleaner makes a lot of turns. But the pool cleaner works great for my small pool. Easy to clean afterwards.

    • Adjust floats to prevent tangling
I have an irregularly shaped fiberglass pool that has a slight slope to it, going from 3' to 6' feet deep over about 25 feet. This easily handles the slope. Also, the recommended adjustment in the manual for irregular pools gets me complete coverage in an hour. It gets sand, leaves, small rocks, tiny seeds, worms, you name it. Overall, I'm thrilled. While this doesn't climb walls and so can't do steps or ledges, the robots that can climb have sometimes gotten stuck on mine anyway, so it was actually a positive to not worry about that. I just sweep the steps and ledges before running the robot, takes just a couple of minutes. If you leave both white floats in the cord down close to the robot, you absolutely will get a very twisted cable. To prevent tangles, just slide one float up so that, when the robot is in the deepest part, the float is horizontal on the surface but the cable is mostly straight down to the robot. The other float should be like a foot from the robot, to keep the cord upright. You may still get a bit of twisting, but it shouldn't be much at all. Cleaning it out is easy. Everything can be quickly and easily sprayed out in seconds. Two minor gripes, but not enough to subtract a star: 1. It drains slowly when removing it from the pool. If you tilt it so the water drains faster, some debris may escape into the pool. It also doesn't drain all the way - the space that hold the debris stays pretty full of water. So, it may be pretty heavy for some people to hold suspended like that. 2. Once out, if possible, move the robot to where you can freely dump the contents, then unlatch it and dump it. You can unlatch it and then move the bin part, but it's basically a large tray filled almost to the top with water, so it's easy to splash water/debris on yourself if you're not careful. ... show more

    • Not Worth It's Cost
We have only had our pool open for a week even though I bought the product in April. When I opened the undamaged box I took the top off of the cleaner following the directions. One of the weights on the bottom was broken. I figured since it is there to weigh the machine then no big deal. We used it twice and now one of the motors isn't running. It keeps getting caught on the side of the pool. I spent too much money on this item to have it not working after only using it twice. ... show more

I have to say that I have been impressed thus far with this Pool vacuum. I bought it to replace my Dolphin CC which only lasted a little over one year. Although this one does not clean the pool walls, it's ability to clean the floor has been great. You literally drop it in and turn it on and it does the rest. I'll see how it does the rest of the year. I hope it lasts longer than what the Dolphin CC did. ... show more

I bought this pool vacuum Jan 15 2023. I used it in the pool April 22 2023. It worked great vacuuming and picking up debris on pool floor. Great !!!! I took it apart to clean filter and sprayed debris out of filter and base frame; as I was spraying one of the weights for the base fell off????! So WTF?! The screws that held it on broke off the plastic where they were screwed in. Everything was great then disappointment. Return window closed Feb 16 2023. Support window closed April 17 2023. The first time used. WTF. Crazy glue or deal with manufacturer? It makes you think, Hmmmm. ... show more
