Description

ROBERTS Moisture Barricade Polyethylene Film is designed for use with vinyl, laminate and engineered wood flooring underlayments. Moisture Barricade is a Class 1 vapor barrier for moisture protection over cement slabs. This 120 sq. ft. roll opens to a full 12 ft. x 10 ft. area and includes an adhesive strip for 3 inch overlaps with additional sheets.

This was used in the crawl space of my manufactured home. I cut out a section to tape to the underside of the flooring where a plumber had cut out a section to access the bathtub drain, I reinstalled insulation and taped the material to the underside. So far it's working.

We used this recently and it was easy to lay down and very thick. The underlayment on top would move a little because this product is so slick. I dont see a way around that, so still giving 5 stars. It was as advertised and we are buying more.

Cons: Edges not cut straight (jagged), smaller than advertised size (exact size varies from "roll" to "roll", comes wrinkled (folded over multiple times and then rolled). Pros: It is inexpensive and thick. We installed about 1,200 sqft of laminate using this sheeting. It is somewhat awkward to work with due to the size. Anchor it on the wall you start on only; this will allow the material to be stretched out, removing the wrinkles, as you lay the floor. Trim off the excess after installing the floor. ... show more
