These work great for exhaust leaks... my 07 Chevy Cobalt has a flex pipe cat right off the exhaust manifold that broke/split open... put some exhaust goo around the pipe to hold a piece of header heat shield cloth... cut a piece of SS sheet metal... wrapped it around the repair and clamped it down with 2 of these... good to go until I can replace the entire pipe with cat and O2 sensors which costs $$$. They sell a repair pipe for this... but if you are going to remove the entire cat to do that repair right... you might as well just replace the cat, especially if it has over 100K miles. Found that image of the (common) problem... did my repair in place without removing the pipe. ... show more

These will be the last hose clamps you'll need, they tighten better and don't distort like regular host clamps. Perfect for fuel inlets, coolant hoses, whatever you have. They're more expensive than regular worm drive clamps, but they're worth it.
