My Wife and I (60s) were looking an adult swing or positioning aid. Most of them connected to a door frame etc and were made from regular webbing and looked uncomfortable for our needs and made mainly for younger folks. The reviews for those consistently stated “not so good for older, heavier people” and “it’s uncomfortable after a time” so I was looking for a more portable alternative at a reasonable price that would help us be more comfortable and adventurous in our pursuit of marital bliss. I ran across this chair and figured if it didn’t work for our intended purpose it would be great for camping as the higher seat level would be easier to get out of than regular folding camp chairs that are low so I bought one. Well, I’m gonna tell you, this is one of the best investments in our love life that we have ever made!! We LOVE THIS CHAIR! I’m 6’4” and the height is just right to get us lined up perfectly for comfortable, carefree engagements. We take it everywhere now! At the beach? Carry it back in the dunes and have up out of the sand, grit free romance. Camping in the woods? Don’t put a blanket on the rocky uncomfortable ground, enjoy each other above the sticks and stones in perfect comfort. Want to have a romp at a group camp event? Carry it to the unisex bathroom and get it on up off the floor in quiet comfort and fashion. Get the urge anywhere you are? Set it up pretty much ANYWHERE! Cup holders hold “accessories”, lubricants, or beers or other party favors. It’s funny and great adult campfire tomfoolery when everyone asks I why we carry this folding directors chair everywhere we go and walk off for an hour or two then come back all smiling and happy. We are still quite active and adventurous and have have used it many, many times now and it shows no signs of fatigue of the tubes or failure of the folding sliding connections or the seat material. It’s very sturdy and holds either her/me(150/200 LBs) scooted down in just the right position comfortably for pretty much any kind of fun for extended periods of time without aggravating arthritic hips and knees and causes no more stress on shoulders and upper arms than leaning on a bar. It is strong and sturdy enough to hold us safely and comfortably during aggressive engagements or gentle, tender embraces on most terrains without feeling rickety or falling over and does not make squeaking or rattling noises to alert others nearby of our activities in more populated environments. The feet are wide enough to not sink into the ground when the hammer is dropping and the seat material is durable and resists stains and is easily cleanable in case of “spills or splashes”. It folds up compactly in a carry bag that’s very useable and has a fairly comfortable shoulder strap for carrying it off into the distance for a fun and pain free romp. Easy to fold and set up in seconds and priced right for its sturdiness and build quality. Open up your horizons of love, add new variety and get adventurous doing mother natures deeds out in mother natures world, have some fun and make some great memories whenever and wherever the moment arises with this chair. Best investment we’ve made, outside of my daughter’s bowling equipment. Bowling tournaments are long (yet fun) days. Chairs are hard to come by and I am 5’3”, so it’s hard to see over crowds of people. These chairs are nice and tall, super comfy, and help me see over the crowds to watch her bowl & are easy to move when they switch lanes. I doubt if they would make a tall footrest, but it would be cool. The chair sits a little lower than I had hoped but safety probaqbly dictates a max height. Good product, comfortable and sturdy.

Pros: Heavy duty steel frames that fold very easy. Padded seat with mesh for comfort Sturdy foot rest to make getting in/out easier and helps keep your legs comfortable. Cons The chairs are still about 4 feet long when folded up While the frames are very well built and heavy duty, they are heavy to carry. Chairs are bulky to pack and store. Chair material sleeves where the back attaches to the metal frame poles has cut through. I'm not sure if this occurred during shipping or during travel and use...but it is a bit of a design flaw. Chair use for more than 30 minutes can be uncomfortable for some people under the thigh. The material sags and allows legs to rest on metal frame. For my use as chairs as a custom earplug vendor, the chairs are excellent. They provide stable seats for customers at a height that I can easily work with. They are heavy and require more room to transport and store, but I am happy with them. For the $100 price, I would be happier if the fabric was not ripping after 2 uses. ... show more

My daughter is a high school bowler, and as any bowling parent knows, there is never enough seating at the events. You are either sitting too low, or have to stand for hours. I saw other parents using a higher level chair similar to this one, and after a couple of years of standing at events, I broke down and purchased it. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like pockets on the side, but it does have two cup holders - perfect for my morning coffee to get my day started, and my water bottle to keep me going. The carrying bag is great. It's got a nice wide seat, so my ample hips fit very comfortably. My husband is now jealous and wants one too! ... show more

Purchased this for a balcony overlooking the ocean. Sits high enough to see over the railing. A sturdy chair but heavy enough that you wouldn't want to carry it far in the shoulder carry bag that is included. Satisfied with purchase.

I have a small craft business and attend local sales. We built a really nice, bar height check-out stand but the barstool I bought was super uncomfortable. Saw another Vendor that had this chair and tried it...WOW! Perfection! Placed my order on-the-spot and got the chair just in time for my next weekend sale. Being on your feet for four straight days is hard, but this chair was so comfortable I was able to rest a bit and my knees are SO GRATEFUL! Really liked how lightweight it was to carry but yet super sturdy. The back hit just right (not too low) to relax and the foot rest was perfect. Here in Texas, we are still (in September) hitting 100° temps and this chair was NOT HOT like so many others where you feel suffocated.
